Worked there for a couple of years, culture is all about putting in all hours as much as possible. Very little to no work life balance expected to work on weekends and nights- couldn’t spend time with kids. Leadership is not there not present, managers expect everything with little to no training. There are some nice people but you’re on your own without guidance on how to operate. Always focused on bottom line, no programs for employees and hr is a joke there- they only follow what management wants they don’t protect employees rights.

This employer is only concerned about it's bottom-line and does not care nor take into consideration the needs of it's employees. You are over-worked and under-paid, in addition to putting in a ridiculous amount of over-time to meet even more ridiculous timelines. They are consistently short staff and have a very high turnover, which means more work falls onto your plate, and they are too cheap to hire additional staff to assist in the high volume of workload.

SCM is a fun and friendly place to work, where your team is there to back you up and help when needed. Every day is different and although the work can get stressful and challenging at times, there is always someone you can talk to, to help you work through the issue. There is lots to learn and opportunities to help in many areas within the organization, so it's never a dull day.

If there was a negative 1 I would have chosen that. The management culture at SCM is toxic. I have worked in many larger organizations and the management style and support (lack of support) is horrendous. The management is encouraged to incorporate chaos in their departments; they bully, gossip and spend NO time mentoring. 

The team i am on is really good. Everyone encourages each other and helps. No one is throwing anyone else under the bus. Things are explained and if you don't understand they will explain again till you do. Very encouraging environment. No micromanaging. 

Great culture of collaboration and learning across teams and companies within the SCM umbrella.  There are a lot experienced and knowledgeable leaders and senior employees who guide and coach, what a great way to continue to learn and grow in your career.

The building is nice.  Free coffee and monthly luncheons  nice to enjoy if you have time  Lots of work General on boarding is excellent.  Department on boarding is a joke  No training or guidance     .  Would benefit from a plan when someone comes on board.  Left due to management if you want to call them that  micromanage, dictatorship

I really enjoy the culture at SCM. It's relaxed with no politics. Very flexible options for working out of the office or at home. Great diversity throughout the company as well. Benefits are quite good as well.

I enjoyed my time working for SCM however me and management severely disagreed. Our manager had a closed door policy, and his answer for every problem solving solution was just deal with it. Other than that was a great company to work for 

Not a good work/life balance. Favorites get promoted, others get talked about. Not great pay for the amount of work expected. Training is bare minimum.  Supervisors are immature and ill-educated.
