At work, I spend all my time on the phone trying to acquire customers for the company by doing "telemarketing". I learned how to deal with rejection and complaints in a professional manner. This job also helped me develop motivation skills and a solid customer service foundation. Management was sort of disorganized. They made false promises in terms of employee benefits, and there were often hours missing on my paycheck. The hardest part of the job was to actually keep the job. With no union protection of any kind, management set certain objectives, and if you were unable to meet those objectives, you could get fired. Thanks to my hard work and drive, I met sales objectives every week for an entire year, when most employees could not. After 6 months at the company, I was one of the oldest in terms of seniority, so there is a huge employee turnover ratio.

The work environment was good, people were nice. 
I learned how to persuade people into what we wanted them to do.
The management was really good and professional. 
The hardest part of the job was getting people to make appointments. 
The most enjoyable part of the job was leaving happy because everyone was able to keep me smiling throughout the days.

Rewarding work in the area of home and small business security.  Attentive managers.  Friendly work atmosphere. Great flexibility and competitive remuneration or salary.

to guarantee  job security i had to ensure on  a average shift i convinced 5 potential clients for that week.
there were little incentive if you booked an appointment.. we got to spin a wheel with different little prizes like 15min break free chips free drinks

Company is situated in a great industry that new innovations are constantly becoming available.
Unfortunately not much room for advancement, however employees are treated fairly and with respect.

Very dynamic work place, with flexible schedules, and also the ability to work remotely

Verh high turnover, inadequate management, poor salary, bad company culture, there no benefits for telemarketers and it is a very stressful work environment.
