Breathing in silica dust all day.
No proper ventilation, while using high pressured air to blow silica dust off of equipment. 
Any concerns go unheard until the issue is pushed further, then the employees are reprimanded for pushing this issue, while no change occurs. Leaving other employees scared of retaliatory action.
Management gives preferential treatment to family and friends. and  
Low paying while job with little benefits, all while risking your physical and mental health.

There is a lot of on-the-job training and room for learning new things. Learning those things may not always transfer into monetary increases. High stress to hit short deadlines and client requirements.
Signing the contract means you are required to change your shifts, lifestyle and social life at the drop of a hat due to company changes in workload. 
Occasionally, you'll get free food and a pat on the back.

Good place to work. Must be physically fit to work here and be able to work in a fast paced environment.Lots of heavy lifting involved and attention to detail.

Awesome company, the hours are long and the people are amazing. You work 60 hrs per week if you need to and management is understanding and fair, lots of training too.

Good exposure to process engineering and lab testing in minerals field

My experience was doing the same three tasks over 2.5 years. Since they weren't teaching me anything else, I looked for new work. Was let go shortly after, what a relief.

Management people are very good they care about our concerns and willing to solve our problems. They care about safety and SOPs for our wellbeing. Very happy to work there

Good to get an idea of the minerals industry. Operations staff has a strong understanding of what the work does for the industry. High pay for student but low once you're full-time. 

Low pay rate but overall good people to work for. Management doesn't seem to have control over pay rate and they will keep you at the same rate with no room to move ahead.
