I would think twice about working for this company.

They are stuck in the 2000s. Great company under Andre LeBel. Current CEO has done nothing except get rid of hard-working, long-time employees. Very weak Executive Team.

People work in silos. Work is not challenging and lacks creativity. Managers treat staff as if they are easily expendable. Executive staff does not change, stifling upward movement and professional development for all other employees.

SOCAN is overall a pretty good place to work. Hard working people that go above and beyond to produce on managements expectations. Good employee engagement activities run by the Social Committee.

Good place to start in work force. It is an industry where you can use your bilingualism skill. we deal a lots with Quebec and quarterly dead line to meet. Every summer we have picnic and company year end party where you can mingle with CEO and other celebrities.

Little to no room for advancement. Work is not very challenging and is not very relevant in other industries. Not the best managers, either.

-Office politics plague this company. 
-Management is toxic to the employees in several departments.
-Experience at this company doesn't translate to other industries. 
-Once the Honey Moon is over. It's paper pushing like most places.

Helpful and always learning at this gob. Modern state of the art complex and it's a place where everything is taken seriously regarding ohs standards. Friendly staff in all departments and my manager is down to earth.. love my working hours early start early finish

Wasteful, directionless, disorganized, mismanaged, downward-spiraling organization, incompetent management

Sinking ship that has been abandoned by the smartest mice
Once a proud organization, now a disorganized mess of a business

It was a pleasant and enjoyable place to work.  The people are very nice.
7 hours a day. 4 day work week in the summer. 
Pension Plan.
I learned Epicor software.
Very diversified.
TV's everywhere!!
