SOUP KITCHEN

Most would describe me as a eager worker and an extremely compatible person who is always happy to learn from others also happy to give out a helping hand . I take orders well I get things done fast but always right , I don't do half the work when I can do all of it I would never waste someone's time .  I have been in team member roles before and I did my job as I was told , when I'm given a leadership role I'm fair and I make sure everyone knows what to do I also treats everyone with the same .

A typical work day I would have to say would be serving food to homeless people and I talking to them so that they feel that they can tell someone about there day. I learned a lot doing volunteer work, I feel that it benefits me as a person because I know that I am doing something good for my community and I am giving back.
I liked working at the Soup Kitchen because I got to know a lot of great people.

they are nice people and i like have coffee brake with them 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
those homeless people need food to stay heathly 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
once a week help out a lots make new friends there

I enjoyed helping the people in need. I realized that people take the things they have for granted lots. There are so many people that have nothing and very little hope. So it felt great for me to bring happiness to so many people.

My typical day at the shelter would be waking up at 7am taking the bus downtown too school, After school I would head to the shelter and put my stuff in my locker wash up and get ready to serve people. What I learned was how to become more comfortable around people and become more social with peers.

Amazing experience I learned many great things from people along the way. I also learned how to talk with people in a proper way and to keep conversations

Soup kitchens are very good they help people get food that can afford it and they even allow people to go and have meals that they can cook and feed the Homeless

Being at the soup kitchen helped me be able to be kore open and talk to people more. It feels great being able to help people who cant afford food all the time and seeing how happy everyone is afterwards is extremly rewarding without even being payed.

Working at the soup kitchen in Saint John was a fun and enlightening experience. We served people different types of soups and chilies, and later talked to the people there. The most enjoyable part was getting to know the people that had attended the soup kitchen.
