Great environment for people who like sports and outdoor activities. I have learned a lot working for then with the company about hard goods such as skis, roller blades, golf equipment and snowboards. My manager Steve was a great person to work for and very friendly to employees and customers it made me love my job coming there everyday.The hardest part of the job i would say is stopping the shoplifters that liked to steal from our store  but i managed to catch quite a few. the most enjoyable was inventory and selling something to a customer seeing the walk away satisfied.

Bringing together the team in unicen, therefore having a very strong and sucessful team for the store close down.

Sportmart was always willing to give the consumer what they needed, while providing me yhe opportunity to advance and climb the ranks. Providing the training to benefit us both was fair but at time sacrificing crutial days off bu these are yhe struggles of every business

Job consisted of managing my team members to sell and stock products.Keeping a clean and organized working environment delegating work to employees. Atmosphere was fun and taught valuable management skills. Hard part was being a manager while keeping the friendly atmosphere of a sports store.

SportMart was a great company to work for and played a large role in fostering community development. Prices were affordable to the public and there was a great sense of a team environment within the company.

there is little doubt why Sportmart doesn't exist anymore. the store had many (too many) individual sales performance targets and goals. It assumed that all hours of the store were equal, and that was certainly not the case.

i would come into work and have to complete all servicing on customers products or build bikes. i learned how to wax and sharpen skii/snowboards and how to mount the bindings 

dealing with mean customers and people who think they know more about baseball gloves than you. Terrible experiences there but the other employees were amazing and managment was great.

Great room for advancement! Management is great! The people were great to work with too. work was easy to learn and do. Got discounts on shoes and clothes

Worked with great staff and positive environment. Would come in sharpen skates, build skis, wax snowboards and repair and assemble bikes. Busy and fun
