My time at Tim Hortons was good. I'd start the day off with making sure that my shift is stocked with paper items and food before I start my shift to ensure that I am well prepared for the day to minimize problems throughout the shift. I learned that I can multitask well enough to a point where accuracy and focus is still well maintained and the job still being done correctly and accurately. The management team worked hand in hand together to fulfill daily goals as well as to the restaurant's expectation. We encourages each other by helping out to get job done on time. Our employees are directed according to job description and as well as expected to do more than what they are responsible for to the best of their capability. The hardest part of the job is dealing with difficult customers but we strive to maintain professionalism by responding in a calm, well mannered way. If left unresolved we try to keep in touch and fix relationship with them. The most enjoyable part of the job is when everyone is having fun in the store regardless of the volume of customers being served a day.

A typical day working at Tim Hortons as a store front cashier starts off with signing into your cash till then begin to take orders. Once an order has been taken you either make the customers order yourself or have another fellow associate help you make the order for you wither it may be. Once your customers order has been taken you read the order back to insure it's correct then make the order as quick and accurate as possible in a safe workplace manner. There is many opportunity's working at Tim Horton's such as cashier, maintenance, drive-thru, management or baker. Hardest part of the job could be the fast paced working environment if your not used to the faced past kind of work. Overall a great place to work for, would recommend to any students looking for a part time employment.

I worked the storefront and other areas as well. The manager and store owner wanted to promote me to supervisor. I often supervised and ran the store but I did not officially accept the title. A typical day at work included, me writing the break list on a dry erase board, writing specific jobs for each team member, and sending employees on breaks. I usually worked in drive through working the coffee station; I clearly communicated with my team and delivered quality of service in a demanding environment. I learned that communication and patience is key to running the store and interacting with co-workers.

Interacting with people (workmates and customers) was fun and exciting, that was the part that I like the most. I enjoy being at work when its peaceful and not much of yelling from the bosses. Workflow was pretty stressful specially when it gets really busy and doesn't have enough staff, we normally ended up working 2-3 people's jobs at once. As a regular staff, it feels like we have no rights to complain or say "No" when we ordered to do things that we haven't trained to do. Scheduling mostly confused staff, they'll ask you to work or cover for shift once but will ended up working the same shift regularly without asking. Hard to find somebody to cover shift when sick because they don't have that much of staff lately.

A typical day at work involved a routine, we had to load the trucks and that usually took a few hours. Once the trucks had been loaded we would go back to assembling and inspecting furniture. At the end of the day it was then clean up time. I learned a lot about doing touch ups and working in a clean and organized work space. All the co-workers were very friendly and easy to work with as a team! It was a good time. The hardest part of the job was the very heavy lifting. everything else was pretty enjoyable!

A typical day at work consisted of taking customer orders, working on the till and baking. I learned that the customer service industry is a lot harder than most people think.  The management team and my coworkers were all very friendly and that made the work environment very enjoyable  The hardest part of the job was dealing with rude customers but the easiest way for me to personally deal with that was to keep a smile on my face and just tell them to have a great day.  The most enjoyable part of the job was being around people all day and making most of them smile.

working with store front is something people would like to do when they work in customer service, because you get to work with the public, meet new people everyday. i really learned alot about handling cash better and how to work with the public. the management there was well maintained & organized, my co worker were friendly i got along with them right off the bat, the hardest part of this job is keep track of all the orders and having to deal with rude customers, but you need to now how to handle it properly in a clam manner besides that everything was good.

I would generally start off with serving the costumers in the line up and then move on to doing the tasks that need to be complete before end of shift. I learn how to co-operate and work in a fast pace environment. I was able to manage my time in a successful way that allowed me to not only work but enjoy what I was doing. The Storefront provides its staff with a loose job description that contains the general area of work that you will be operating in but also freely allows employees to join committees of their interests. Due to this, I was able to start off in one role, but develop skills in a broad range of areas. The Storefront allowed me to become a well rounded individual who is able to dive into many diverse situations.

This compnay is a very good place to work, and gain great interpersonal experience, and they train you to work well on your own as well as in a group.

Hardest part of the job is working through a large rush alone, things get very heated but you need to keep a focused mind and get things done properly.

the most enjoyable part of my day at work is spending the time with my co-workers. Everyone is very friendly, and you always have a good day because of the people you work around.
