Individual contributors have very limited career prospects. Promotion into management is extremely rare, and it often feels like cost savings matter more than developing internal talent. Performance reviews rely almost entirely on the immediate manager, so achievements and positive contributions outside your team may never be recognized. If your manager doesn't advocate for you, there's little visibility into your work. Good place if you're looking for stability, but not if you're seeking career growth.


The job I currently possess is one that I enjoy very much. I have always run equipment and continue to do so and learn something new every day. Safety is first and foremost and that type of environment is encouraged and taught. Also, teamwork and communication skills are positive and ongoing.

Company recognizes goals set and accomplished and, for example, rewards workers with company barbecues to show their appreciation.

Signing in. Make sure that workers sign in with Tag ID and transponders. Monitor tunnel for any other visitors and activity in tunnel. Hardest part of job was just sitting around and cold shed. Most enjoyable part of day was greeting co-workers. I learned about being more responsible because it was a job where workers could get injured.

i started working for Strabag 2 years ago, and I have learned lot. facing different challenges everyday only added more knowledge and experience to my working career. I have learned to drive tbm as well as I troubleshoot and solved various issues. I am very lucky to have really awesome crew of people working with me. and I have really skilled mechanics working for me.

Great company culture very inclusive environment at SCS in London. Highest payer of all of the JV companies. The Summerfest event which strabag hold each year is amazing no other company that I know would hold such an event for their staff. 

I regret leaving

Over all I learned many things by working for strabag. I gladly work for them again if I had the chance. They were great at supplying tools, saftey equipment and cared a great deal about the health of workers. As each worker had too go through health tests . On a regular basis.

Every day new progects are most enjoyble and interesting part of a job.

I start off in the day reporting to the maintenance foreman, I then pick up the list of jobs for the day. This could be anything from pump repairs, to gen sets, changing oil on equipment, and prevented maintenance.

A good place to work at.  Very strict security procedures and confidentiality.  Excellent staff and management and employees were treated very fairly.

I like this company because employees can get more experience from local and European job work place. There are good opportunities for someone who wants to get more experience in their field. Thanks for management and other employees.
