Most of the regular employees are generally good but there is an absence of leadership.  Of course lots of managers or executives there think they are leaders but they are really bosses barking orders at people and having unrealistic expectations of growth and the work people had to do, most of them could not do their teams functions if their lives depended on it.  That is not what leadership is about.  They do not give credit to their team for great ideas or contributions but claim them as their own.  Some of the executives spend more time managing their charity work then their teams but then take credit for the work being done by their team members when they contributed zero to the success other than to stand up at meetings and claim credit for the work others do.

The company generally underpays and does not recognize over achievement in an appropriate manner and are generally not prepared to promote or compensate for it unless of course you were friends with your boss.   Low performers who told a good story generally got promoted as long as they were drinking buddies with an Executive.  If you are not competent but willing to put up and suck up you could have a long career here as the company regularly kept people past their Best Before Date.

Employee of the Quarter, Promotions and President's Club were all a joke and more of a popularity contest rather than a recognition based on contributions and success.

-Completed payroll administration for a bi-weekly payroll ensuring that all deadlines are met ensuring compliance of employment standards across Canada.
-Enter, verify and export time and attendance prior to processing payroll
-Process payroll changes such as rate increases, retroactive adjustments, employee new hires, terminations, maternity leaves, medical illnesses, contract changes and vacation payments
-Verify payroll batches and transmit to payroll service provider for processing Canadian and US payrolls
-Process yearend changes to employee files, create T4 & T4A’s to meet required deadlines
-Report ROE as required
-Process manual cheques as required
-Set-up and remit payments for garnishees and family support
-Post to general ledger ensuring all company accounts reflect bi-weekly accruals to Simply Accounting
-Provide backup and support to Payroll Administrator as required.

Working at synnex really taught me alot,working as a team was one thing that i learned,making decisions to help the company for example,making coffee,the management was the best,the manager was a nice person of whom you could easily talk to incase something happened.My co-workers were the best,we used to work together,like a family.The most hardest part of the job was at the end of the month because we were getting busy and the management was changing the working schedule which was sometimes hard for me to cope with,because i ended up working 14hrs a day which was hard but the most enjoyable part of the job was no one was giving anyone hardtime and so it was easy to work when no one is pushing anyone because we all knew what to do and the main purpose of being there

• Responsible for penetrating Canadian markets with Fujitsu's Imaging and Mobility product line.
•Increased our resellers active business opportunities by developing relationships with resellers across Canada in order to become a trusted adviser.
• Coordinate internally to ensure consistent messaging on monthly directions and opportunities.
• Identifying pockets in the market to increase brand presence generating opportunities with government, channel and SMB accounts.
• Communication of Fujitsu's alternative program options which generate additional revenue through increased buying power and cash conversion.

Working at synnex i got a chance to know how to ship products,fill invoices and how to work as a team
The hardest part of the job was when we are busy and end up not fulfilling a particular task
The most enjoyable part of the job was when working together as a group...we have fun because no one pushes you around..we are there to help neach other
My co-workers were the best,if anyone does something wrong everybody is there to show you how everything is done,It was an environmetal free and not a hostile one
The management was good,If we achieve something,the supervisor and the manager used to wow us and it did everything it could to make everything go as planned

Working at Synnex has many good things and some things that have room for improvement.

Good things include: Easy, Steady working hours, Good work/Life balance,  and decent pay.

Things that could use some improvement in my opinion are: The management could be more engaging and approachable, Could spend more on maintenance and improving the facility I work in. Could use better or more advanced equipment. More incentive for the employees to keep proper housekeeping, storage, and following safety protocols.

Terrible Canadian corporate culture because of some key management personell.  Management lacks diversity and vision.  Everyone is out for themselves and regularly throws others under the bus as that's the type of bahaviour leadership enables.  A lot of inappropriate chatter especially if one does well.   No real sales strategy other then lowering price to beat competition.  Which results in lack of pay for most reps.  There are some exceptions, and majority of the non management personnel are good people.

Condusive enviroment where team playing is encouraged and new ideas supported.busy all day long that i have to work overtime to beat the deadline.Management supportive and encouriging.workmates are like family irrespective of their backgrounds.hardest part of the job is trying to offload the trailers within the shortest time possible and the most enjoyable part is trying to reduce the time taken as much as possible.

I worked there for 7 years and the day I "got fired" and got my severance cheque was a beautiful day. There's good and bad in all places, but this is a temporary job only! The favoritism, lack of pay, and lies are too much. Leaving there wastebasket thing I ever did in any job. I'm not just an upset ex employee I'm serious you will regret working here and length of time. All the people I know that left are happier now. It's truly a "bottom of the barrel" job.

You feel at home during working hours, where you can learn discipline and respect. Management is so organized and friendly and will treat you as a family. There is respect for a different workplace culture. The hardest part of the job is to gain respect and trust with the customers and clients. The most enjoyable part of the job is that we can help and work each other.
