Came to work and immediately pushed someone out took the job not knowing they are gonna fire the kid. I changed my vacation twice to accommodate my cross shifts the got sent home 10 days before my booked time and then got sent home with only 2 hours notice. I was working night shift so this was explained by my cross shift not my supervisor.  And because of the fires in the area it took me more than 24 hours plus my shift the day before (up for almost 50 hours by the time got home) everyone one on the rig doing Pepsi in the dog house and LC1 on steroids it’s a very aggressive environment to work. I came back from vacation and was sent to and rig on this rig my cross shift left a day before rig move so I stayed on call worked 2 nights and a day shift so 3 shifts straight just to be told they will only pay for one. 

You are required on your days off without pay to get parts if needed. 
If you are a good worker you will not get a raise unless you check off this vast checklist of requirements for the raise.  It’s not off merit or workmanship just box checking. Then when you check all the boxes you are required to take one of their tests. 
The office is so out of touch with the actual field staff it’s laughable. Been here for over a year and never seen safety once. 
The owner will have no problem giving the actual field staff a pay cut just to make   An extra not needed office position. 
DO NOT TAKE the supervisor position. The amount of pay increase you get it’s not worth being woken up while you do night shift or being called on your days off. Just a small example of things that pop up.

I work alone, only operator on drill site.

Company keeps sending out guys with little to no experience 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work environment is good, because I work alone. I work out on the drilling rigs mixing drill cuttings , moving drill pipe and various other jobs

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Mixing drill cuttings, loading and unloading trucks, moving equipment around the rig with the excavator.

The workers in feild that I worked with

The owners fight the HSE manager is very ignorant full of herself

Very toxic always throwing knives in others backs

It was always stressful didn’t know who was throwing the knife that day

If you’ve worked on drilling rigs you know what we do. If you haven’t the job is very niche. There isn’t really anything in civil dirt works to compare to this. You will be working in very “tight” locations and there’s a lot of ways to damage the excavator or client equipment easily. There’s also a lot of people around all the time. 

Enjoyed the work but was a pretty low paying job considering the responsibility and skill required. Learned how to run hoe from these guys though, definitly recommend if you’re looking to get into heavy equipment. If you have drilling knowledge and can run equipment youl do ok here. Would probably work for them again especially if they up theyre rates. 

Started off great really enjoyed the job and work ,the managers are great. The company operates a tight ship. There is too much drama some of the other  operators are backstabbing and cutthroat you do not know who you can trust. Doing a good job is not praised but make a mistake and they are on you. Company spies everywhere. Sad really . Im a team player ,there is no team with this company.

Working on a Rig means the job is never boring. Lots of work with Forks on an excavator which is very different from the usual dig and dump. Best orientation and training program I have ever experienced for excavator rig work. And if you don't know the Rig side you will need it. 

you worked around the clock 24 7 on call. Worked with many different situations. Mixing off different types of liquids for waste. adding wood products ie adding pellets and shavings to waste water and invert.

Like all other jobs there's good and bad coworkers. 
Bad guy's not lasting here for long time.
I like Management , they're like family Always willing to help with day's off or extra day's of work .
