Rotating inside the restaurant as a host is a pretty claustrophobic job considering you have to deal with both the customers, the servers and the management, complied with strict seating policies and a tiny restaurant!. This job can make you quit on the spot if it's busy. Bar tending requires a lot of muscle memory with no real walking or moving. Close proximity to others, and its horrible if you don't get along with them. Lets not talk about the hidden things. Extremely high turn over with no stable management. Things seem to always go wrong in this place. The customers can be extremely rude.

Missing coming in early to see how good food is made!

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Start off with tasks, end at scheduled time, enjoy, in and out!

I worked on morning shift from 10 am - 6 pm.
Learned so many thing especially using a wok, and making speciality sauces.
Management as always gave excellent treated to our members.
the environment of the work place very pleasant and team work.
the hardest part of this job only lack of communication due to most of the line cook couldn't speak english very well.
the enjoyable part was al the team member always helping each others.

Developed management skills. There are only long whole day shifts so long breaks, free food, good pay, taught me alot about career progression and stability in the end it didn't work out. If you want to work hard and develop your serving skills then give it a try. A real well known place, alot of sugar in the food, keeps you coming back for more.

Co-workers were great. However, management was bad and had poor communication with staff. Very confrontational which created a toxic work environment. Staff were constantly overworked/burnout.

Owners are very good people. They treat their staff well and it is seen by highs staff retention. They are way more generous then most restaurants and give free food to all staff . They are nice and respectful.

its was a great place to work. high pressure fast pace but i loved every second owner is amazing too very very supportive it has a real family approach

pros: free food during shift and free food to bring home
cons: no matter how much tip you received, the kitchen always shares a portion, if you received none, then you pay from your pocket

Wonderful people and a great work environment. Friendly and cooperative kitchen team. Administration was top notch making sure employees were taken care of and paid on time.

Overall great work environment. My first job so not much to base it off. Overall great shifts they went through my schedule to see when I was busy. Great managers too.
