Working at Salford group has been a challenging experience due to several critical issues. The company's practice of laying off employees when workload decreases and then hiring new batches when needed creates a sense of job insecurity and instability. This approach lacks consideration for the well-being and career stability of its employees.
Moreover, the infrastructure is notably inadequate. There is a significant deficiency in washroom facilities, which is both inconvenient and uncomfortable. This oversight reflects poorly on the company's commitment to basic workplace amenities.
Additionally, Salford shows a concerning lack of accommodation for diverse employee needs. Whether it's accommodating disabled employees or addressing general working conditions, there is a notable absence of support and responsiveness from management.
In conclusion, while the work itself may be engaging, the overall environment at is characterized by ruthlessness, instability, and a disregard for essential employee needs. It is disappointing that such fundamental aspects of a supportive workplace are neglected.

Salford is a company that is growing and Innovative. Growing companies come with some challenges, but Salford is not only a job for many of the long time employees, but a work family as well. Salford is respectful of their Employees and has gone out of their way to do what is best for them. If you don't like to work hard  or can't handle some work stress during the busy farming times, and be challenged in a good way, then you would likely give Salford a poor review. But, if you are motivated and love to work with Great people, this may be the place for you. I can not speak for every department, but my experience is great pay and great benefits, a growing company with a family feel. Go Team Salford. 

It's a combative place to work at the management and supervisors are always against you. I personally proved that I could save the company over a hundred thousand a year which was approved by management as well as fix the machines and I got diddly-squat
for going the extra mile not even a thank you.
And they ask you for ways to improve productivity and money saving techniques and promise you bonuses and raises for your ideas. And they're the ones laughing all the way to the bank while your living in a van down by the river.


They’ll Jip you on everything they can, often ended up talking to payroll every week so check your paystubs.
Be dedicated cause every 6 months or so they’ll treat ya to a donut. 
Management is straight up cowardly will tell you what you want to hear, walk into the office and doesn’t give you a second look.
Drive up the road to stubbes at least they match your rrsp contribution, better wages, same hours, better employee management relationships. 
Was once a family friendly company now they’re turnover rate is as high as any temp agency job 
Profit Share is a joke (office employees talk to floor employees about sales and profits) you’ll definitely get a share of the share of the profits 

Beware of Salford Group. The place seems so welcoming on your first day. After that first day you learn the absolute truth. You are nothing but a pawn for them to use. 
As a red seal welder. I must day this is the most unorganized place and dysfunctional company. I have ever worked for.
 HR is a joke. Tell you all the right things during your orientation. Then you find out the truth. Once you're "put to work". Tell you there is an RRSP, and benefits. Then found out RRSP is just money you put in and company doesn't contribute anything. Health benefits are pitiful. 
If you are anyone with actual work experience and have your own thought. You won't last here more than a few weeks at most. Find somewhere that will respect your time and work.

Great job for someone who wants to be paid poorly, work too many hours, Never get a thank you, Be put down, And be constantly stressed. The management is horrible in both Ontario plants they make you work your butt off and give you nothing in return, The profit share is a joke (Seriously it might as-well not even be there) If you’re not Mennonite and have an education prepare to be treated poorly. Safety is laughed at, Tools are worn out and they’re too cheap to do anything about it, Save yourself and just look somewhere else.

• Designed modifications to machinery to make shipping easier and safer
• Worked with quality department on devising new inspection methods and creating new safety check sheets
• Worked with systems architect on design and software applications coupled to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Gained good experience in communicating with people in a professional setting
• Learned a great deal about programming in general and enterprise architecture

The work environment is very welcoming and teamwork is a big part of the company’s success. My coworkers are awesome and have been very helpful in answering any questions I’ve had since I started. The workload can be heavy at times, but I’ve enjoyed that because it keeps me busy and engaged. There is also job security because it’s agriculture, and people need to eat. Overall, I would highly recommend working here.

Checking the finished products for defects.

Wonderful, being the only women in my Dept ever I was treated with respect and made to feel a big part of the team

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy, time sensitive, organized

They let a lot of people get away with harassment;if no proof given, little course of action will be taken. How are we supposed to present proof when the company has no cameras and a no phone on floor policy? Especially in a plant that has no supervision and one other worker? They as well let boys with bad tempers continue their employment.
