What is the best part of working at the company?
Working with the good people who work there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Some people can make it difficult to work there and the money is not very good. Hard to pay bills on the wages.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mixed and diverse. The people make the workplace. If they get along with you, you can enjoy it. If you do not fit in with the cliques, it is difficult and not worth the effort. Work there until you find a better paying or accepting workplace.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It can be busy, it can be slow, depending on how much traffic has been generated via promotions.

This was a great job for me to work for a while before going to school for nursing. I only made minimum wage however as a server i made pretty good tips so it was worth it. However other areas arent that great of pay especially if you are commuting. It was perfect for me when I lived in Carberry. There is quite a turnover rate I'm assuming because of the location. But overall it was a very fun place to work and I loved the staff. There is a staff meal option for 3$ a meal and it just comes off your paycheck which is nice. Benefits are offered for full-time employees.

A lot of back stabbing. Poor management.  If you’re looking to be a cook don’t bother. It’s all processed and ready made food and you’re not allowed to be creative or make anything your way.   the kitchen/ shift supervisor comes off sweet but will put you down every chance she gets and brings her personal problems to work daily. Mood swings are her expertise and will talk bad behind your back instead of lifting her co workers up. There is no passion in her food. You will feel drained after each shift and not because of the work load.

Great place to work with plenty of good people. I enjoyed many rewarding experiences during my 13 months there.

There was mainly a positive culture at Sand Hills and I would do it all over again if given the chance.

This company is terrible.  The management is terrible, a lot of favoritism,  the gentle man who overlooks the casino is not nice at all.  The manager looks down on you, and the supervisors think they are so much better than you.  This is a terrible place and would not recommend it to anybody.

I love working here! Great money and amazing staff! Customers are usually very patient and understanding, and HR is outstanding! This is the best job I’ve ever had and would highly recommend tossing in a resume if you’re interested!

I enjoyed working with the customers. I felt there was no teamwork at work and I experienced harassment in the workplace that made my job stressful.I felt there could of been more improvement in terms of staff meeting where we discussed how toimprove the workplace as a team.

Bully Culture, revolving door, low wages, no public transportation access, sexism, racism.  They do not adhere to rules of the employee/employer handbook, if you write someone up for an infraction, you may get in trouble if it is your boss' friend.

Working at the Casino was fun, meeting new people.  Working with co-workers was great.  Dealing with different types of situations was a great challenge.  Lots of politics and red tape.

This is a great option for general income. The pay is fair, the hours are good, and management treats staff well (atleast while I was there for sure anyways). For people looking to work in a busy atmosphere, and enjoy being on their feet, this is a good fit.
