Saskatoon Colostrum

I had started working as a high schooler here and had worked my way up into full time after I had graduated. Pretty fair pay for what you were doing but some times it just wasn’t enough. The people I met there have to be one of the greatest people I met everyone is treated fair and equally and at times I felt like work wasn’t really work because I had such a good shift with amazing people. The only cons I have is it’s 12h which isn’t that bad but rotating 2 weeks days and 2 weeks night shift was unbearable. For a good while we were understaffed and not hiring and when people quit they decided to hire more which I felt wasn’t fair

SCCL was overall a great job for a high school student. My favorite part of the job that it was an all hands on jobs. A typical day would be to watch a safety slideshow, put of coveralls and go lift 5 gallon bucketss of colostrum for 6 hours then clean your workplace and go home. SCCL introduced me to a very busy, hot and repetitive workplace. Which is not bad in any means. The management was not the best since we had a new supervisor every week therefore you never were able to get familiar with anyone. Otherwise they were very polite and professional. The hardest part of the job was that you could never really rely on it as the hours shifted heavily.

When I was working at SCCL I had a great time. I enjoyed working with coworkers. The pay was good, and the benefits were good too. Management was wonderful. They were friendly and very understanding when it came to family life. It was a small company so there wasn't much work politics. I left because I couldn't see myself working with Bovine colostrum. But if it didn't bother me I would still be there. One of the best companies I worked for. They appreciate honesty and hard work.

it is a good starting job for someone who is looking to join the world of workforce. The workplace gives good pay for easy labour, the heat is uncontrolled and their is very little supervision and when there is they are not assertive at all

The 4 pm to 10 pm shifts are very convenient for students and those looking for a second job. The starting wage is very good at $15/hour, and there are also opportunities for full time work after gaining significant experience as a casual worker

SCCL doesn’t prepare you for real jobs. Try not to get comfortable because once you get back working somewhere else you will realize how the crock shoes are so bad for your physical health. 

Females would typically work the dishwasher as males would typically lift and dump the buckets of colostrum. Decent management and some safety precautions were put into place to avoid hazard.

It is a good place to work with friendly co-worker. Management is superb and considerate especially with family issues. Perfect place except for some shift supervisors that feel you should work exactly like them 

Management is good and very supportive. Salary is fair and just meeting the average wage. Employees are provided with health benefits, paid holidays and pension plans.
