When I started it seemed like a great place to work, and they do listen to their employees and foster a work environment that allows you to speak up, but be carful, because they are very demanding and judgemental. 

The expectations are very high, and the pay is ok but not great. Collections is understaffed, and the hours and shifts are not what they had promised at the time of hire. 

The company does have fun competitions to motivate employees and will have the odd potluck, but they did not budget for a Christmas party last year. 

Raises are only given once a year, and the requirements to be eligible are not clear, which feels very nepotistic. 

Depending on which office (Anjou QC or Burnaby BC) you work in, the training is completely different and agents work on different levels.  

Unless someone quits, it is hard to move up, and the company keeps repeating that they promote within but if you are good at your role they want to keep you there. Sometimes people are in roles that they should not be in, again due to nepotism. 

The consistency in regards to management depends on the day, if we are hitting target, and what delinquency is. Also, some team leads are fantastic while others do not meet the qualities of a leader who is supposed to let you make human errors and learn your job. 

All in all, the company is not crooked or corrupt, your co-workers may be the best you have ever worked with, but for what we endure and are told to strive for, we are underpaid and under appreciated.

Typical day at work I would do the following tasks:
• Provided Sales Department administration support for Sales team and Dealers
• Assisted with dealership SDA sign-up, closing, and name change checklists and deficiencies
• Assisted in sales and office event planning activities, ie. Annual Canadian Open Tournament
• Provided sales and dealer telephone customer service support
• Tracked and organized sales and promotional inventory
• Assisted with the input and formatting of information into excel, word, and powerpoint 

I learned how to better converse in a professional manner with customers and sales representatives over the phone. I strengthened my organizational skills, teamwork skills, and my ability to work individually on projects.

Management and co-workers were amazing - encouraging and positive environment.

Started off as a Customer Service Rep and got promoted within a year to Collecions. (Policy requires one year in current position to apply for a promotion)
Benefits are amazing. 
Company growing at a rapid pace and supervisors always available to work on a developmental plan with you and assess your strenghts and opportunities. 
They are very encouraging to hear new ideas, concerns, changes that could be brought to make SDA the best place for employees and customers alike. 
I reccomend this place to anyone considering it.

SDA is a horrible place to work. Pay is garbage. Don't let the director convince you with the "compensation package" to claim that the pay is justified.. It's not. Doing more work for less pay is inhumane. Some of the management team decisions are questionable. SDA methods are outdated and need to redefined. SDA overall is really good at upsetting their staff so they leave the department. SDA is also really good at upsetting their customers. I do not recommend. I would not even tell someone I hate. Nobody deserves to have their time wasted or to go backwards in their skills and development.. 

I enjoy working with all my co workers. Everyone is very friendly. the Hardest part of my job will be the amount of incoming calls in a day. The call center gets very intense at times with minimum breaks. My day starts with logging in and going through the days with inbound outbound calls. In these calls we discuss arrangements with customers. Management is up and down depending on how well the company is doing . The most enjoyable part of the job is being able to do my work with great confidence and diligence. I am someone who enjoys learning new things all the time.

SDA is a great company to work for and they have been great to me providing training and advancement.

We work in a fast paced environment and we are constantly busy and looking for innovative ways to remain competitive in the industry. 

The hardest part of my job is the commute and time away from my family. 

The most enjoyable part is the work itself, having the ability to work in a great team environment and feel as though my opinion matters.

•	Foster a positive, motivating work environment that values the people and encourages participation, creativity, learning and accountability 
•       Co-workers, main reason for staying this long. The team spirit is like no other
•        The most enjoyable part of the job, great environment, yes its a call center however its not your typical collections office

SDA is to cheap to pay their employees actual good wages. Way to much division and repetition in roles. SDA is not in touch with reality. Also way to many departures in a year. That's a problem, but is never addressed. Calling someone 5x a day everyday is not going to make things better with customers. 

Typical day would to review customer car loans from dealers
Learned how to verify documentation with less than 10% monthly error ratio. Workplace cutlure was good. Hardest part was in the winter that there wasn't enough deals to work so it was challenging to hit you metrics. The most enjoyable were the people.

Very warm and welcoming environment from the beginning of the day all the way till the end of your shift. Helpful staff members made me stay with this company very enjoyable. Co workers were great and everyone was treated equally.
