Sekure Merchant Solutions is the worst company that I've ever worked at.

1. Let's start with the job itself: It is an extremely soul-destroying job. As a lead generator, you have to make at least 500 calls a day that in over 90% of times, your calls even won't get through the gatekeepers and even if they do, you'll reach very angry people who hang up on you or are not interested or even don't listen to you and want you to take them off from your list. Numbers are dialed back to back, giving you no dream of taking a breath even! You have to repeat one thing over and over again, hundreds of times a day.

2. The management is unbelievably strict, non-flexible and unsupportive. They treat you in the worst way and show no respect and support for you. You shall never expect any support from them. Although some staff is friendly and supportive, the main authorities are extremely unsupportive and treat you like their enemies. They're always hunting something to criticize you for that.
I will never forget the day that a manager had a meeting with us and said "we hire 20 people every week and we're not gonna need you if you are not a good employee for us, you can take the door and leave, you are very welcome to do that"!!! It is the nastiest statement of a manager that I've ever heard!

3. Managers and supervisors send messages to the reps several times a day, namely for giving hope and spirit to their fed-up employees, but their main goal is putting pressure on us for making leads. 

4. They have unrealistic expectations for making leads and statements. They know it very well themselves that we almost have no control over making leads as most of the calls won't even get through the gatekeepers. They want us to find the decision-makers at any cost, even if they are in the middle of an ocean or live on a different planet!!

I can't say enough about the reasons that you should DEFINITELY NOT think about getting hired at Sekure Merchant Solutions. Just know this that if even you are super-desperate for money, do not even THINK about going to Sekure. This job will destroy your soul, make you disappointed and put you under a killing pressure. You're not gonna get any support from the managers as they see you just like a robot.

I got fired 2 weeks after working here because I didn't get any statements  and I did my best each and  every day every though my first 2 days I got 4 leads each day  and some days I got 2 or 3 ( you have to get 3 leads per day). 
Many of the calls I was making, the DM was either  unavailable or the company didn't use credit cards, I can't control what happens to the leads when they get transferred to the  sales analyst. 
 Everyone in my training group got statements except for me . Im starting to suspect that they give their good leads to certain people and the rest to others This company is very unprofessional,they seem to get rid of people who work hard and they keep the people who are lazy 
The music played in the background is way too loud and their is too much pressure and micromanaging. 
They need to listen to their employees more, and stop playing favorites
my advice to management is that you don't have to resort to firing someone after 2 weeks because there not getting statements if that person is trying and getting some leads, you need give that person a chance and understand that some people are gonna have bad days and many times the DM is not there or unavailable .  90% of the time the rep cant control what happens after the lead is transferred to the sales analyst . The management needs to have better and fresh quality leads and not use the same leads that have been called 50 times . They also need to rewrite and revise their script . And they need to help the people who are struggling to get sales and offer more coaching  instead of throwing the towel on them . I believe that some people have potential to make sales/ statements but it takes time, you need to have more patience  and you need to stop having the managers/ supervisors walking behind us every 10 mins its really annoying , were not children.

I started as a guest services agent and got quickly promoted to a reationship manager. There is a week of intense training and lots to learn and you never really feel prepared for the job because there is so many differenet scenarios that can happen on the phone call.
Once promoted to a relationship manager I started doing crazy amounts of overtime daily (for which you are not paid) just to stay afloat and still felt overwhelmed by the amount of work and knowledge that was still missing to properly perform my job. Job itself is stressful, merchants are not always the nicest which is understandable because they are lied to from the beginning and then you are there to sort of be yelled at and then you lie or deceive a little bit more. With some customers you are able to build nice relationships. Management is really really nice, understandable and pleasant (at least customer service department). They went above and beyond when I had a family situation I needed to take care of and made everything possible. Benefits are good and start after 3 months. Pay is really good and there is room for advancement from the start. If job itself wouldn't be so bad (or not for me at least) and it wouldn't make me stressed out even when I wasn't working, it would be a great place to work.

Worked at secure for just shy of three months, the people are great loved everyone and how friendly they are, loved all the inspirational quotes from the managers. But I will say this management needs some work, your tactic to scare people about losing their jobs is not how you manage a company. You don’t need to micromanage anyone but I do believe your training should be a little longer then a half a day. I felt good at the company at first then I miss a day or two and had doctors notes to back me up and at 4:30 (keep in mind we finished at 4:45) on a Friday I was called into the training room and told that they have to let me go, 2 days shy of my 3 months, but I could apply again. ( I’m not good enough now but I could be good later) told I could finish out the day. Being stupid I did finish out the day in hopes I’d get a statement in the last 15 mins just out of spite. 
If you don’t make quota you will be let go, which I understand the business of it but most the time you can not help it if the lead is a quality lead, you have no control over whether or not the customer sends in their statements.
$15 an hour to put up with what ya do on the phone is a little low. But they did raise it from $13 and extended the hours. 
Overall I loved everyone I worked with, clean and nice environment but management needs some-work to improve how you communicate with the people that working for you.

Seemed like a great place to work but they show their true colors shortly after. Coworkers are great but management not as much. You work like a robot: Log in, start calls, break, more calls, break, even more calls, break, calls again then log out. Occasionally, theres coaching to help you out but the calls are all the same and it really doesn't help much. They expect a lot out of you for things that are out of your control. You get yelled at, hung up on, fax machine or voicemails. You repeat the same script over and over again. You need to  be making over 200 calls a day with very little reward. You call hospitals, churches, schools, government offices, credit unions and more. You look stupid calling some of these places asking them if they're interested in credit card merchant services. It is not a bad hourly pay but commission is definitely lacking for what you have to do. Not worth it for the pressure, stress and more. They will terminate you for no reason or something you're legally entitled to. They also don't really care about you or your life, they just expect you to perform your job even when you physically is incapable or unwell to do so. They will hire almost anyone. Highly do NOT recommend working here unless you absolutely need to and have no other options. 

I do not recommend this place, what first seemed like the perfect job ended up being a company I absolutely hate. They hired me knowing I have no call centre experience, because they said you get extensive training etc., turns out you realistically have 1 day of training via Excel slides and then on the second day you begin taking calls. They expect you by your third day to be knowledgeable like someone who has been in the industry / company for years, with a script that is very vague. They are not forgiving. If you are sick (even due to covid) and can’t make it to work, they will fire you(as they did me). The girls who train you are very snarky when you ask questions and have this fake persona to them. I get it must be stressful training a new half dozen people every other week, but if you can’t handle the responsibilities as management enough to not be snarky when NEW employees ask questions, perhaps you’re not fit for that position. The positives would be that it’s weekly pay, however, you do get taxed Quebec percentage even though you aren’t in that province so just keep that in mind. Overall transparency and ethics could be revised and worked on for management staff, lack of HR communication as well. Co workers were awesome though. 

I was employed to be an appointment setter with the company and was slightly perplexed that I would just be offered a job straight away for an ok interview.

I had arrived for my first day to find an chaotic, frantic work atmosphere that actually felt counterproductive. I had been told to continously push and push for sales and felt that what we are meant to say was clearly robotic and impersonal to the receiver. I had found myself perplexed about what I the company actually does and there was some contradictory information given. 

I had then had the task of getting onto the phone and calling business owners. At that point I have felt completely disgruntled and confused. I was shouted at to start calling in patronising and condensing way.

I had realised that management constantly shouts and puts down staff in order to motivate them however the draconian atmosphere and hiring 15 people at a time method makes you disheartened and aphatetic to wanting to be in that environment.

I used to work at Sekure Merchant Solutions (or whatever its name is) as a Lead Generator. The job is extremely stupid, stressful and soul-drenching. They may deceive you by offering the salary of $15/hr, free coffee, free breakfast, 9 to 5 schedule, Downtown location, and so on. But you must be smart enough to not be fooled by them and not accepting the job offer.

It's obvious that they give specific numbers to their TOP-SELLERS and your share will be the numbers which have been dialed several times already. So you must expect hearing nice swears and kind shouting all the time!
Managers are extremely strict and cruel. They manage there like camps and think we are their captives and their robots so they can treat us in any way they desire. They don't understand or don't want to understand that they have to support their employees as they are the ones who help them gain a lot of money. They never value you as a human being. They want to have submissive programmed robots in their hands. If you want to be a person with discretion you'll be asked to resign!

I have never been in a place where managers can care so little about  their employees while still acting so friendly. There is no trust or benefit of the doubt, you can be an excellent sales rep for months, have a few bad days, and get berated by management. This is telemarketing, and you are required to pester and annoy everyone you call until you get hung up on. The minimum targets are so high that even the most veteran salespeople don't reach them half the time, so that work is a constant desperate struggle. Everyone is worried about being laid off if they don't produce enough, even those who actually make sales.

Yes, there is opportunity for advancement and those who advance can make excellent salaries, but the best salespeople are the ones who are rude, pushy, and angry. Only apply if you like having a hundred arguments a day over the phone. This is an abusive company that takes advantage of people who are desperate for work.

Nothing - They have no respect for employees - always brow beating - pressure to sell is intense - managers are draconian - pay is lousy for such a stress filled work environment.

Selling pressure is intense & if quotas are not met you are treated with contempt

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Stress oriented - Leads are awful - expect leads to be antagonistic as merchants are fed up with our calls & being ripped off by the solutions we get for them. Then your managers will chew you out for not meeting your quotas.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Stress oriented & made to feel like a loser if your day does not make any sales, despite you following their pitch & trying your best.
