I worked there on the production floor in 47 degree temperatures, They will not turn the line off OR replace employees to follow the break schedule set by law when working in such deplorable high temp conditions. Not even allowed to have a water bottle to try to stay hydrated. Way too cheap for A/C. Even admitted to us.

Roach and rodent infestation!! Not just in the dungeon like lunch rooms, (no fridge, broken chairs, dirty tables that no one cleans) But also on production floor. Especially roaches everywhere, From climbing the walls to hiding inside the machinery that never gets cleaned. No one takes responsibility, But rather points fingers to anyone else to blame for their mistake. Owner walks around and won't even acknowledge the employees. Racism is very prevalent there. People who have no business what so ever being in their position only have the position cause their background.

Disgusting place!!

Select has made significant investments in people, in equipment and in systems and processes. Private owner who is knowledgeable and cares and is invested in the business and Select's success. Safety and Quality are paramount and is at the core. The business is customer focused, valuing each associate's perspective, has an open door policy where people work together, is solution oriented, cares about its associates and has made significant progress since new ownership in 2015. It's great to be a part of a growing and flexible business that is prepared to invest and can make decisions quickly. Management commitment to Food Safety and Quality is the driving force in achieving continual improvement. Peers and co-workers with in-depth job knowledge provide immense impetus to ideas and helps achieve intended goals in the area of quality and food safety. Vast food safety program with varied products and processes.

Started with a shift that ran from midday to afternoons. The shift slowly moved to later in the evening.  It was under a new owner when I started with the company and he was developing new teams and procedures. Therefore it was in a transition state. A good place. We were in the process of building the Sanitation department. The company decided to move from an in house Sanitation department to contract cleaners.

Select food products company ltd is Not the worst place to work in terms of career. Good for beginners to get experience

Developments that typically unfold in months of planning and implementation are usually happening at a weekly rate. Continuous improvement is in its blood.

While not for the faint of heart, this company will surely turn out to be one of the greatest food manufacturers around.

Leaders needs to be trained properly night shift/afternoon shift on how to lead employees and how to respect each individuals. All standards are not being followed no growth stay away

The work is very easy and consistent. Although it is very repetitive it is still sometimes fun. The environment it had was also comforting because the coworkers were very nice and helpful when i needed help.

Expect to do heavy work if you're a man but it is not unreasonable. 
Fast paced and challenging but seeing the results of your work was very rewarding.
Everyone was very friendly but did not mistake work with friendship.
