I initially had high hopes for this company, as it seemed promising at the start. However, after spending three weeks doing physically demanding work with minimal direction, I quickly felt disrespected by the management, safety team, HR, and especially the foreman.

As an Indigenous employee with long hair and a braid, I felt targeted and treated unfairly. The foreman made direct threats on-site, which created a hostile and uncomfortable work environment. Unfortunately, it became clear that this workplace does not seem to respect or support individuals who do not conform to certain appearances or backgrounds.

I strongly urge Indigenous workers or those who do not fit a conventional mold to think carefully before applying to this company. In my experience, the environment was not inclusive or respectful.

Despite my efforts, I was terminated without clear communication, being told only that I did not meet their performance standards. While disappointing, I am relieved to leave and pursue opportunities with organizations that value diversity, inclusivity, and mutual respect.


I worked for them for one summer as a Water truck driver having to water sod, trees an so on. It was good I did enjoy, until I got injured  And blew my patellar tendon.  the companies attempt to accommodate said injury was not very  accommodating    However they did have modify work duties but still their version of modified work duty they could if did it better.  and they were more concerned about when I’d get my butt back to work after my  physiotherapy and or doctors appointments. I did not miss any time from work I went in everyday but it was not enough I guess 

 Not to mention the Formans were a bit of assés they were not polite or courteous as getting the job done was more important  then having common courtesy and respect for Their  coworkers.

Wouldn't recommend, unless used as a stepping stone to get another job. Wouldn't stay for more than 3 months. Low wages for the work, no position advancement, management seems non existent (from what I remember). All in all, this should only be seen as a stepping stone into blue collar work, don't try to make a career out of it, it's a dead end job. I wouldn't even recommend it as a stepping stone. 

Get some work experience and then leave to get into a trade, or get some cash during the summer for school, but don't get complacent and make a career out of it, that's my advice.

always going to different parts of the city, doing everything from shoveling to running a sid steer Bobcat. I larne how to landscape yards, run a skid steer Bobcat. The management was great, same as my co-workers th hardest part of the job I would say would be the long hours. The most enjoyable part of working for Seven M Constucton would be be traveling all around Edmonton to do different jobs.

At the time was not workteam, some teams are think they are better than the other ones.

Terrible company to work for, no benefits, they will kick you to the curb, very rascist and sexcist. Overall a bad work experience. Go work at cutting edge, or switch industries. Just do not work here. Upper management will give you promises, maybe even to go to school. It won’t happen. You’ll get thrown to the curb for all your efforts at the company.

Good steady work, onsite supervisors were easy to get along with and happy to train/answer any questions. Enjoyed the variety of work and getting to see the finished product once a project was completed

Violating alberta working laws, Unrealistic expectations, delusional, biased, unfair, stay clear, shady business practices, steer clear and avoid at all costs.
