Worked for Sharetea Calgary since their first store and left in 2021. I do not recommend applying or working for this company. There is no real leadership and you often feel looked-over and underappreciated, while being blamed and told you need to take more responsibility even though you're only making minimum wage. When we hired we were promised competitive wages and benefits however during my 2 years there we received no pay increases and no benefits. Over the time they've been opened the standard of the drinks has dropped while no regard for quality, taste, and customer reviews. Employees are over worked while sometimes only being given a single shift a week, and paydays were often delayed and inconsistent. The only upside to working here was amazing coworkers who made it fun and refreshing. (all of them have also quit)

I worked at ShareTea for roughly 6 months, and although the drinks are very tasty, the ownership and management is lacking any professionalism. Day to day is making drinks, stocking/refilling products, serving customers, using debit machine/till for cash transactions.  
Our group was only trained for 4 days as opposed to the 2 weeks you usually get, a lot of drama within the workplace. You are promised health benefits etc after 3 months however that was never provided, pay was consistently not on time, with poor excuses and no confirmation. Enforced to use expired products even after expressing discomfort and laws. If management/ownership were to change then the store could be amazing, and thriving, unfortunately the sales don’t break even due to lack of proper education within ownership, No accountability either, constant fear of retaliation for speaking up but you get a free drink per shift! 

first of all, let's  make one thing clear this is my first job so I had no previous experiment on any job, so experience may vary, but the first thing they tell you is that if you begin this job you will work as a trainy and you will get pay 5 dollars per hour and you will not get trainy money until you finish  three months of your work, then if you quiet during this time or your boss fire you, you would not get your money back at all. by the way that's what happens to me after working there for three weeks, the boss thinks I'm not fit for this job, so they fire me. in the end, I got nothing back but some experience on the job and a free drink in my hands that I had to ask for.


Share Tea is a fantastic brand with a well-designed menu that offers a wide variety of drinks to suit different tastes, from classic milk teas to refreshing fruit teas. Their training system is thorough and well-structured, making it easy for new employees to quickly understand the recipes, workflow, and customer service standards. During my time there, I learned not only how to prepare high-quality beverages consistently but also how to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with customers, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.




Although the position offered minimum wage, the workload was quite manageable, making it a good fit for someone seeking a low-stress and balanced work environment. The tasks were straightforward and easy to learn, especially for anyone new to the food and beverage industry. The colleagues were friendly, supportive, and easy to work with.  A small but nice perk was the free drink provided during shifts. 

You can improve your interpersonal skills here and got fully practice of highly effienciency work techniques. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is that when your customers love the drinks you made, you will feel happy and worthy.

Working as a shift supervisor has given me experience in manage a team and learning to deal with customers face to face.  This is a fast past environment in which communication between customers and coworkers must be precise.

Really really really fast paced 
Have to be a quick thinker and a problem solver 
Good entry level job and can get you a job at Starbucks or a barista elsewhere or general customer service job afterwards 

its a bubble tea shop, so basically you take orders from customers and make their beverage as the way they would like it. Needs to be able to do things fast during the evening as there will able a splurge of customers at the time.

There is busy time and slow time. No fix break, but everything was negotiable. Most of the slow time, you can communicate with co worker. Some of the workers are really lazy.
