The work load is ok but you need to learn everything so you could enjoy your job. Learning is consistent on this company with the help of your colleagues and Management team, each department help each other to achieve their goal, like one of the manager told me “We could champ every guests by smiling, positivity, and going above and beyond”. With this culture, you will learn and progress with this company and more enjoyable when you meet each and every people on every department and the management will allow you to jump in on every boat to learn and succeed in life. And the hardest part is saying goodbye to friends, colleagues and management team as new opportunity knock on your door.

Working as a room attendant at the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel has been such a positive experience. The team is supportive and welcoming, which makes coming to work enjoyable. I take pride in ensuring the rooms are clean and comfortable for guests, knowing it plays a big part in their stay. The management genuinely cares about the staff, creating a respectful and encouraging environment. It’s rewarding to be part of a team that values hard work and attention to detail, and it feels great to know I’m contributing to making someone’s visit special.

The work culture and employee morale is really low. The turnover rate is higher than a fast-food restaurant, despite the very high wages above industry standards. Management and even the owner turn this place into a negative environment. The best part of the job is truly the pay rate, that keeps me here. But even when the owner comes to visit the hotel, which is often, it is always an unpleasant experience 

Generally it is a place you can quickly learn as one person most times does the work of two persons. 
There's a lot communication gap between workers and management so you're damned if you have an incompetent or manager that does not like you. 

This is my first time working in a hotel and it is overwhelming. With more than 700 rooms with lots of conference and events it can get busy. But this hotel have lots to offer. Multiple staff appreciation party to attend. You can also get commissions for you hard work.

I was hired to be the Credit Manager, and was let go 9 months later because the removed my position.

the staff in the accounting office were great, but the GM did not support the staff .

The hours were long, but lunch was free.

Although the money was great and staff were amazing there is absolutely no organization and no consistency. Staff are worked to the point of exhaustion and the owner constantly comes in and makes every feel on edge. In one year might see 15 to 20 employees come and go.

Clocking in 15 minutes prior to start time.  Greeting department associates and getting briefed on the days happenings.   Helping guests with whatever they require including; directions, reservations, luggage assistance, deliveries and transportation.

Working in Sheraton Wall Centre has its ups and downs. The captains are usually polite and helpful, but they snap at you under pressure. The food is excellent. There is no training for starters, and the payment is average.
