Sigma Engineering

The hours were very reasonable 7am - 3pm for the day shift. 3pm - 11pm for afternoons. Other then that there is nothing good about working there. There is no stability with that company. You have to go through a job agency which puts you on a contract that claims to be 3 months which is standard and reasonable.  I was on contract for 5 months and was told after being employed that there is an additional 3 month contract with the company itself once the contract with the job agency ends, which after 5 months did not end. When I turned down the opportunity to go into a tool maker apprenticeship I was fired not long after. I was warned by other employees that declining the apprenticeship could put my job in jeopardy and they were right.

Cheapest company I have ever worked for.  They wanted fundraising ideas so the could have a company luncheon.  The pay for skilled labour ridiculously antiquated and insulting.  The guys that have been there have been brainwashed into thinking it is a good place to work.  Plus I wouldn’t trust anyone there. They  all want to know your business and had no intention of helping new workers out.  Dysfunctional at best and complete failure as part of a large business

The supervisor kept first aid under lock and key. People used first aid from co workers. People were hurt almost every day due to unsafe work practices. 
Supervisor caught rats regularly.

got fired because my boss did not like me. they make you do 5 jobs for the price of sfa. they expect the world out of you and fire you in return. management is a joke. there is bigger and better paying jobs out there that treat you proper. would not recommend my worst enemy a job here.

Sigma engineering has been a good place to work, the work environment is great and the people are friendly. I enjoyed my time at sigma engineering and I am grateful for the things that I learned and the people that I met.

Everything is good except continuity of shifts... There's no safety for job thats only drawback here, it'll be good if break time can be increased by more 10 mins because 20 mins break between 8 hour shuft is not enough to eat lunch

management was very good and the plant was safe and clean. the job was hard because we were stamping heavy metal. it was a temp job so I didn't get a full impression.

good work environment but location is too far from the west end of windsor. Good management, co-workers were good. The hardest part of the job requires you to stand all 8 hrs

Working at Sigma Engineering I learnt to work with a large variety of people and their work ethics. It teaches you to accept everyone and their ways of working and really teaches you patience.

Friendly people but not a place to plan a future on. It is a very clean atmosphere but it does not last long. Breaks were fair and no interference while working.
