- very strict work environment but the people knew had to have fun when the time was right. - I learned an extreme amount of responsibility during my employment with Sigma Stretch, I was given the chance to be a machine operator just after 3 weeks of being there. I was in training for the role for around 3 months but sadly I was supposed to be moving away so I did have to end my employment with Sigma, -  the management was excellent, very professional and knew what they were doing, great training abilities.  - the co-workers were absolutely what employees should be like, if you needed help they were right there to assist you.  - the hardest part of the job would have to be when you would have 4 machines shut down at once and only 6 machine operators around to fix them, so you would be running from machine to machine trying to help as much as you could. - the most enjoyable part of the job would have to be just being apart of that team, overall I give Sigma a great review.

You will be run hard, they want the most they can get out of you! Very short training period where you are expected to learn immediately the first time shown! You cover four breaks for your packer (if you have one/ three 20 minute and one 40 minute lunch) our breaks are only fifteen minutes and a half hour lunch but it’s common practice for a packers to see how much they can get away with. Typically they’ll get away with most things and you the operator will be blamed and catch the trouble for not fixing what your packer did wrong. Now as for trouble you’ll get in it one a week for something you’ve never been shown or told so expect that. This has only been the tip of the iceberg that is sigma stretch film good luck out there!

Sigma only started hiring women in fall of 2017. There are 2 or 3 women per shift if none of them have quit yet. Therefore it's a very toxic work environment with guys being crude and disgusting all the time. When they aren't saying gross things, they're doing stupid things like wrapping desks completely in plastic and fighting (even though there is a no-hand policy). Management on the floor is a joke and management in the office is too strict because of that. It's almost impossible to be directly fired after your 3 months because of the revolving front door but if you get sick alot or the rest of the crew doesn't like you, they and management will do everything they can to shut you out and make you quit.

A typical day at work is spent rotating between 4 lines. They say they rotate you every hour so you don't get injured. You will end up hurting at the end of 12 hours anyways. 

What I learned? Packing Stretch film products. 

Management? I honestly did not get to know any management figures outside of HR. 

Workplace culture? Loud & Socially isolated. You're not all in this together. People know what you screwed up & people will confront you. 

The hardest part of the job? Having to work a line that would be better off having two people on it opposed to one person. I would also often get so dehydrated I felt physically sick. 

The most enjoyable part of the job? Going home.... 

Spiteful management making employees do more then one job operators are expected to do two if not they are  fired for not wanting to do two jobs as well as poor safety regulations and no actuall safety meeting just a simple paper they have you sign stating you've had a meeting that never took place 

Management is a joke. Get wrote up without even a warning. Supervisors don't know much. Production manager only talks to you if you're getting in trouble. Doesn't say good morning or wave. Sour look on his face at all times. Pay sucks and no eye care in benefits. High turnover rate for reasons. 

a hot place to work in summer but nice people over all  very friendly if you need help ask is there policy. If you need a life do not work there for me rotating 12 hour shifts to hard when you want to sleep during the day you cant and visa versa at nights

Every couple of shifts you've circled the globe in. the amount produced and the Material vanishes over a period of time to reduce the waste factor.  Plus Managment is really friendly.

Very laid back , easy work and everyone helps when they can spare a minute . best part is its so loud so you get time to think as well without interruptions.
