Hands down the worst place I have ever worked in my entire career.  If you are thinking of working there, do yourself a favor and just don't.  It's an extremely toxic work environment.  Behaviors/attributes that the working culture encourages/nurtures there include:  antagonism, vindictiveness, divisiveness, and discord.  Bullying and intimidation are also perfectly acceptable forms of behavior as well.  Truth is not a virtue that is held in high regard.  What makes it worse is that maanagement truly believes that a healthy team environment exists, when in fact the opposite is true.  So nothing will ever be done to change the working environment there.  If you absolutely must go work there, save/archive e-mails, take notes on conversations/meetings (i.e. dates, times, who was there, what was said), and otherwise be on high alert at all times.  You will absolutely need the information that you recorded at some point down the road in the future.  Trust me!

While the coworkers, work, and atmosphere is great, there is little room for advancement and the pay is well below average; management is notoriously cheap. Expect 2.3% raises every year with 3% bonuses.

The work is good and they take best practices and lean manufacturing very seriously.

Unfortunately management often makes poor decisions that reverse decisions that were made two years previous, resulting in unnecessary rework. Management loves to change project scope last minute or even when the project is done, which is extremely frustrating. Management also seems to only care about what corporate thinks, and focuses all their goals on looking good to corporate, sometimes at the expense of production.

Good benefits though.

Once Philips lighting was a great place to work.  The only way you could get into Philips Lighting was if someone retired or past away, but in the past 2 years with all the management change the turn over is high, staff are not happy and common office conversations are looked down on. (only found in washrooms or outside the building)  people (staff) stick to what and who they know. when you walk through the office you will only see heads down and people working. there is zero engagement  and also with new staff. 
In order to get ahead at Philips Lighting you must be willing to work long hours, and to continue your education including the six sigma courses.
You will also find unqualified managers which have impeded those who know/knew what they are doing.

For me it was ok place to work. They provide as many protection equipment as they can. Co-workers were generally good people and work is not difficult at all. Your main role is to support production line such as filling screws plastic bags and get any other parts that they need. Plus sometimes actually be part of assembling line and work with them. 
I would have been the best company if I could get paid enough but the salary at there it was not satisfying at all. Except for that I liked working for signify as a material handler 

Poor work moral, the staff are not friendly and some are bullying.  Management not progressive, but this may have changed with the new ownership of the lighting division.
The older management not willing to change or think outside the box.  Promotions are hard to get and recognition is scarce. Lots of work and little support.  Inappropriate behavior by co-workers not action-ed by HR or management, especially if they have seniority in the company.
Steep learning curve and no patience is the rule.

People are ok to work with for the most part.  Clean safe environment. Supervisors and management do ample training and onsite courses every year for safety procedures and processes within the warehouse.  This job pays pretty well.  The benefits are ok.  Mostly 80% coverage.  My biggest complaint is yearly lay-offs  for 6-8 months of the year.

Formally Philips Lighting. Busy in a good way great people. Dedicated to make things easy for your job but can be difficult at times to navigate the big company structure. 
Salary and benefits are great. Flexible with personal and family life. 
Can be slow to keep up with competition and market demands. 
Not a lot of opportunity to advance customers and be miserable at times

It was a very negative energy type of work place and the pay was terrible I would never reccomend people to work for concentrix which had a great contract for Philips lighting but messed that up by their bad management and sent handful of employees scrambling for employment all because they were lax

Every day is learning in this company. The worker is there primarily concern. Management is very approachable and people at work is friendly and fun to work with.the job is easy to learn you can move to other department as long as you are qualified.

I enjoyed working at Philips.  It was interesting and gave me the opportunity to develop and understand the way a global company operates and the global vision.
