- absurd levels of micro-management
- the quality of the management
- lack of sensible solution architecture, resulting in endless firefighting

The best part was the work itself not the employer. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The CAO is passive aggressive. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Definitely a toxic work environment.  High turn over in employees. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Keep your head down, do your work, go home.

Very toxic workplace. Owner lives in a different city and the CAO was his secretary at one time and is passive aggressive.  Very dysfunctional management as the management has no formal training in the field that they are actually working in.  

If you have a good manager, overall it's a nice place to work.

Nice people, multicultural.  Job required a lot of traveling. Toronto office is small.
