The Practice Firm is a safe and supportive environment designed to assist Ukrainian and
Newcomer clients with learning what is required to integrate seamlessly into the Canadian
workplace. Clients will interact and build relationships with others, settling into a new
environment and having a shared experience.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
We start at 10 and have time to check our emails, we have workshops from 11:00-12:00 thereafter we have time to work on our projects.

•	Perform daily and periodic operations of the Accounting Department maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions in accordance with accounting standards and company policies/ procedures
•	Assist with payroll calculation and preparation
•	Insure timely processing of account payable and receivables
•	Develop reports, documentation and spreadsheet assignments as required by management
•	Organize and file daily paperwork as required
•	Maintain a pulse on all accounts payable activities, diligently review invoices against services delivered, issue timely payments, and reconcile activities to the payable ledger
•	Process monthly payroll ensuring compliance with payroll processes and HR policies
•	 Additionally serve as a key point of contact on any issues related to payroll.

My typical day at simpact involves training through zoom meetings
The management is very concerned about your welfare and they carry every staff along.
The work culture involves a lot of collaborative effort lots of training and giving you the opportunity for growth by giving responsibilities such as presentations and being a buddy to mentor a newly employed staff.
The hardest part so far is not being in the office.
The most enjoyable part of the job is having the opportunity to be be trained by well experienced facilitators from other companies with a wealth of experience maybe in software applications and personal development for growth.

Come into work, start the day by looking at itinerary and then continuing the work of the previous day if it was not finished. Attend meeting then continue work the rest of the afternoon.
