I love coming to work.  The job, the people, the culture, everything is excellent.  I have been here about a year and a half and I do not anticipate ever looking for another job again.

This employer provides a competitive salary and benefits package considering the focus is giving back to the community.  Management doesn't have a "profit at all costs" mentality and is very considerate of the team while driving to ensure that the organization is a valuable partner to the community as a whole.  I feel comfortable that I can talk to anyone about anything at any time.  While there is an expectation of I complete my work quickly and accurately, I don't feel pressured to do so.

In the past, I have been with organizations that haven't been as stable.  I don't fear that my position will be restructured due to budget cuts.  I think this organization is on an upwards curve and feel lucky to be able to part of the future success which is inevitable.

Long story short, no matter what line or work someone does, I think the level of satisfaction they would have by working here would be second to none.  In my history, I have enjoyed jobs/organizations, but none compare to SNGRDC!

It is unfortunate that Six Nations of the Grand River is not accommodating in employment, and instead seem to utilize an autocratic leadership style; you will not be respected and they do not approach things with an ethical mind. 

I was extremely disappointed with how the leadership team showed me just how unwelcoming they are to true professionals such as myself; this is a place for students and or entry-level candidates only, and if you are educated and well established in your career(s), don't bother applying as you will be walking out the door within a few months.

Nothing aweful co workers and bosses

Everyday always backstabbing workers and drama

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Didn't like it at all culture only some parts of this organization worked along showing culture aspects

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Walking on egg shells everyday watching your back who was going to tell a lie about you aweful experience in the cleaning department

I have been working at SNGRDC for a little over three years. My experience has been amazing from the get-go. I have grown so much and been incredibly supported along the way. For those who have the motivation, this company offers incredible opportunities to grow and the support you need to get there. The team has been great about expressing appreciation, not just with me, but I see it amongst others as well!

I had been out of the work force for a long time, then I was told about this job. I was very happy to get hired on, then i ended up getting to renew my contract and have been here ever since...I love coming to work everyday and my bosses are amazing!! the kind that will do anything to help you....with anything. not to mention the environment is great and the benefits are awesome as well!!  I really hope that i can stay long enough to retire from here!!

Work is fun to fun to come to everyday. Its a great work out. I have lost over 100lbs in a year of working here. so not only is it great for the bank but great for cardio. you keep moving and the company also has you cross training in all areas which is amazing. the managers in the sponsor's booth are great to work with. 
We have great benefits to. come work with us and have fun lots of laughs.

I started as a summer student four years ago and worked my way up. Great place to begin a career, or as a student coming fresh from university or college this would be the perfect learning experience for entering the job field. It is good pay for students and young adults who are just starting out, and there is lots to learn here about work life, culture, history and about the Six Nations community!

The workplace environment is extremely toxic. Management talks a good game but fails to follow through with actions. Speaking up against mistreatment only leads to even worse treatment or potential termination. The turnover rate is alarmingly high, fostering an elitist atmosphere where employees are afraid to voice their concerns and feel like they’re constantly walking on eggshells.

 I have always been treated with respect and appreciate the encouragement I receive from my Director. I'm pushed to take on new challenges which gives me a sense of trust and security in my job. We have a great workplace culture here at the Corporatio. I enjoy working here and within the Six Nations community. 

SNGRDC has clear goals and aspirations of what they want to achieve as a company.  They are focused on the long term economic benefit of Six Nations.  Community centric work that feels like you are making a difference in the community.
