loved working with skyline but after 2yrs of advancement they shut down my line of work (residential) and went on to strictly commercial metal roofing which i felt was unfair since all of the hard work i have put in to learn and get better at my position to the point they wanted to put me in a truck and be foreman all to be told i would have to start from scratch again.also felt it was a bit of a popularity contest with the people i worked with, i have anxiety and dont talk as much as the others where they would stand around joking all day i would be working, guys that had way less exp and did half the work i did would be getting practically the same wage 50cents-1$. and though they would miss tons of work for bad excuses like being hung over, even after maybe 30-40 times in the 2 yrs i have been with them.. i ended up getting laid off for missing 1 day when the company was going through the change. in the end i still think it was a great company just wrong timing with the wrong people.

Removal of old roof was time consuming ne roof installation was fast and quite easy to learn training courses were detailed and well executed hardest part of the job was working in the winter. Management was awesome everyone was able too work together quite well. I learned about fall arrest safety is key when working at those heights and that guard rails wont always save your life wearing a harness properly can save your life and keep you from sustain bodily harm. Hardest part of the job was keeping warm. The most enjoyable part of the job was installation of the new roof it was quik simple and didn't reqire too much just teamwork.

Working with Skyline Roofoing, gave me the chance to see how the tar goes on the roof, and how to takeit off. Caring the shingles up the latter was a real challenge, when it is cold makes it harder to climb the lattter. I really enjoyed working with them.

I learned so much working for Skyline in regards to exteriors on residential and commercial buildings. Management was great the acknowledged good work when they saw it. The hardest part of the job was loosing it.

All I did was remove the metal panels on the roof, removed the adhesive and take the panels down for cleaning, then lay down a new composite material on the said roof, took the panels back up and secured them to the roof.

i Learned so much from this company my supervisor was a alright guy didnt mind him the main thing i didnt like about Roofing is having to always climb ladders i personally dont like them.

Great place to work, fun environment, gives off a family feel.

Had a awesome time working there learning different ways on using different roofing materials traveled all over Calgary doing all types of roofs from flat roofs to even doing houses

Amazing company had really great feild employees and some good office employees as well and nice long hours 
But could have a better benift plan for the feild guys

good management, paid on time! flexable hours as well. appreciate the employees for being a lot of help\1 good place to work lots of had work and fun.
