Overall not a bad company. I feel i have gone as far as \i can with this organization. I have mad eit to the superintendant role. My typical day at work involves contacting mutiple trades and the prime contractor and reviewing the days processes. Critical path work comes around frequently so i must be prepared to handle anything; I am the lead and manage two shifts a front and a back shift consiting of 20 men per shift. I coordinate with my leads aion each shift to ensure all our goals are met in a safe and efficient manner. Generally we have anywhere between 40 to 50 tasks on our schedule at any given time, this is updated daily. I am required to coordinate with all the various leads of each department to ensure that the work gets accomplished in its required timeframe. The best part about my job is the fact that its always busy.

I enjoy working  in  a safe environment and believe in the safety culture. My day starts with a positive and confident attitude to do a honest days work.  I am efficient in the roles of handling pipe
 insulation materials  and accurately keeping track of all inventory.
I have acquired the skills in organization, hard worker,  multi tasking, time management and a strong team player.   I work individually or as part of a team.Effective communication with management is essential. My job challenges were having a permanent co-worker to help deliver and stage material to the field.  I enjoyed setting up and delivering material for different jobs on site. Communication with other trades was most enjoyable.

I ran the tool crib, so I was responsible for signing in and out of tools for scaffolders, ordered tools for tool crib. over seeing yard work.
stacking scaffolding material back on shelves. ensure all scaffolders vehicle gassed for start of shift. co workers were very friendly and easy to work with. hardest part of the job was the fact that the turnaround was only 4 days so going home was often impossible.
I enjoyed the work, meeting many and working with so many different people, this was my first camp job and I found that camp jobs was what I wanted to do.


I loved my job Well we all had a sense of doing our best to make the crews’ job easier and it was a let down at times when we as yard personnel busted our butts and honestly I don’t remember ever getting a “good job” for reading their minds when they wrote down the wrong items but I sure got to hear it if I missed something - which was actually good cause I learned to look for not mentioned jacks or treads but no stringers hehe

Been working at Skyway for a few years.  New management started in 2021.  Completely inept.  Fired all the experienced people.  Brought in new junior people.  Fired so many people that we have to do 3-4 jobs we're not trained to do. 

Really poor leadership.  

Skip this company if you have other options.  

The new management are planning to run aground the company and I wouldnt suggest to anyone to work here.  There are chances where they will ask you to do somethings which wasnt budgetted for, you are expected to do it out of pocket or face the firing squad. 

Excellent experience, good people and lots of challenges to complete, management was excellent and the work was exciting. We worked during the construction of the COOP Refinery in Regina SK.as a scaffold contractor building scaffold systems to be used by the working trades on-site

started with safety meeting. got the crews going on there scheduled jobs. proccess work orders. built time tickets. learned more about planning and scheduling. co-workers were fun to work with. hardest part was driving 1.5 hours to work. most enjoyable. $ 108 just to show up at work for travel.

Amazing work experience with all the help in the world from management. Really great people to work for,  great communication and well organized, also everyone came together as a team and completed any underpressure work without any problems

I had the chance to work with some really good folks/uper management aquired some very good knoedge  and run a even better crew overall great experience thanks SKYWAYCANADA
