Not the best full time  position if your looking  for something  to keep money  coming in for you and your family.. its impossible  to get a raise there

There is workers  there still making  15/hr even  after  being  there for 5 years etc.. so that should  tell  you that it's a bad  work environment. 

Hours are irregular, if you try to work overtime  9/10 ( if your white) you get sent home and the other demographics and older ( and I mean old) workers stay. That doesn't  promote  a healthy  work environment. 

Management  is garbage, if the higher ups feed bs to the floor managers it falls onto you, and if you try to do anything  to speed up  the process  by multitasking  good luck. You are expected  to do 1 task and that's it.

Work here if construction( or other job)  is slow  and you need income  to pay rent,  but if you can avoid  the headache.

Job relies on customer orders if no orders then the production staff don't work. But different story in busy season the upper management in Calgary/Saskatoon want us to stay overtime and most of us feel that why should we go out of our way. In the past year we lost two really good local managers that cared about us as people not just an employee and now we are just a body. It to the point where I left because cant survive on hours given and hate being treated poorly. You can find a better job where are treated like a person and value your years of service. This is why left for another job.

Management is good they took care of their employee but due to the volume of the orders of their products it causes lack of hours a week. The supervisors there were all rude and mean a little mistake on what you’re doing they will yell at you and humiliated you in front of everyone. Sometimes other co employees were over confident on how fast they are but the quality of their finish product is not        good. No training on your first day you just observe on what they’re are doing then they will expect to be as fast as them.

We work night and day to ensure our customers receive the highest quality of fresh cut produce available.

Working for sliced was not fun.  They pushed us to work faster so they could process more fruits or vegetables.  Management was horrible. We didn't know when we had to work. Some weeks were busy others we only worked 3 days. At the end we got all fired because they couldn't come up with a strategy  to serve the clients when COVID hits.

Very cold and wet. Miserable work environment. I quit after a few days. Worst of all, they expect you to work in the cold for the entire 7 hours. Also, most of the production workers don't even speak English.

Long hours caused imbalance in work-life, and sometimes worked 6 to 7 days a week. Unorganized work style, and very manual system. Poor management.
Underpaid, with no improvements in salary. Benefits removed after pandemic, and never got reinstated.

Co-workers are like family, but the management seems lacking in support for the workers.

Also, full time workers are forced to leave early frequently.

My experience is good. There us fast paced and peaceful work. Colleauge behavior is good. All management behaviour is good.  All worker focus on their work. Don't disturb each other . And helpful.
