Snow Cap

Warehouse lost over half of its staff(including the highly respected foreman of over 20 years)this summer as a direct result of poor management and ownership. A number of employees including said foreman worked 5 months straight of 11-12 hour days to keep snowcap running last summer after being promised they would “be taken care of come bonus season” if they put their heads down. This promise, along with many others regarding staffing the place properly, were tossed out the window come slow season. I have never seen a business disrespect their people so blatantly as snowcap does. Part of this is a result of a lack of basic human decency, but also management having zero understanding of what goes on in the day to day of this business. If you work here, prepare yourself to be expected to go above and beyond every day for zero respect or appreciation, and if raises happen they only come around the peak of busy season when they realize people are fed up enough to finally quit. Hopefully you also enjoy being lied to directly to your face on a daily basis by management or ownership, regarding literally anything…wages, benefits, when equipment will be replaced. They genuinely believe the people working for them are so dumb theyll believe anything. Also enjoy awful benefits, that dont kick in until you work there 6 months, which they also choose to omit in their job ads and offers when they hire you. 

Started out being an enjoyable workplace until the new manager took over. Not qualified at all, terrible treatment of tenured staff, very out of touch with the workforce and zero respect, lied about benefits package and tossed around wage increases to favoured employees. Wouldn’t recommend working at Snowcap

Too many long term employees that needed to been fired years ago. Management is inconsistent as to what they want from it's employees. Management picks favourite employees despite lack of work for them. Ownership is clueless on many issues.
