There's a lot of good and bad to working at Sodastream. I believe certain types of people will thrive here but they're the exception than the rule.

As a growing organization, there are always new initiatives and projects. It helps keep things interesting when no two days are alike, despite having routine work. At first it seems great, but you soon come to realize it may be difficult to manage your workload since there are always executional issues. This can get draining as it seems these issues are seldom resolved.

This is compounded by the fact management team does not care to address the root cause of the problem(s) in process or policy, or want to hire additional headcount to help offset the work.

Ever since Pepsi acquired Sodastream, there has been added layers of red tape and tighter control that have been disruptive. More structure and defined processes are definitely beneficial, but it's assumed the current staff is sufficient in this 'new world'.

The turnover is evidence enough that it's not sustainable. The sales/marketing focus at the cost of attrition is becoming detrimental. You will learn probably more at Sodastream than any other company, but it truly becomes exhausting after awhile. Another issue worth mentioning is communication with Israel (HQ) is spotty half the time and information is not relayed properly.

On the other hand, the company is very generous with gifts, food, compensation etc. You are also given a lot of autonomy with your work and flexibility, ensuring deadlines are always met. 

The culture is a thin veil of easy-going covering a fast paced and disorganized nature. This can be fun for some as mentioned above.

Nothing good other than some friendships made

Everything, managers who can’t manage and Directors who can’t direct 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Only want positive feedback and every department for them self 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy busy busy busy , more busy and then here comes more work

Auditing personnel has reported that the HR DEPT at this company is incoherent and ignorant. They feel entitled and act like they own the company.

The HR staff take the onboarding process as a joke and discriminate intentionally and frequently. 

Our auditor was in owe when this has been witnessed for the entire week. District Manager needs to Adjudicate this branch and put in staff with respect with the absence of a snobby attitudes.

No loyalty or direction. Limited resources and no positive culture. Management has no control of the direction of the products future. Too many insecure individuals not willing to see the potential of the company due to their own personality flaws.  Sodastreams issues are  never going to change, the product will continue to mask the internal dysfunctions as it has to this point.

Upper management not good very cliquish & bullying from direct managers.  They are mean and demean workers

Many things done with employees but does not make up for the mean comments and passive agressive conversations

I honestly do not want to review them.  It was a very unfortunate 2 years with no thought or concern to anything outside of their wants and concerns. Favourtism is so prevelant there.  Be prepare to be shamed if you do anything at all wrong

Upper management definitely needs to be replaced, due to being disrespectful to employees and creating a toxic environment.
Lots of bad language being

the culture is toxic and the higher-ups are arrogant and snobs. They disregard the junior as inhuman and mistreat them by talking rudely to them. It wasn't a good experience to work for them as they are not invested in honing the skills of their employees.

Positive work environment with management that was receptive to the workers insight and suggestions. Was a fun experience working at a brand new facility.
