Work life balance is some of the worst I have ever experienced. No exceptions or flexibility are made for any staff no matter what the circumstance. Management is unable to evenly delegate tasks making things around the office very complicated. Company is very micromanaged.
Absolutely no room for growth within the company as it all revolves around the corporate controller and the directors whom are the family that owns the company. You must be born into this role.

With this company it is fast pace, between driving truck and working in the office. The day to day task is always changing. Depending on what the customer is requesting. Time Management skill is must, so you can accomplish your task though out the day.  They  have good benefits package for the employees. There is good support team from the management team. Between the drivers and office staff, everyone always helping out each other. 

long hours for average pay - no recognition or appreciation for long term employees. toxic upper management/owner culture. loyalty is a one way street . benefits have been reduced drastically . low moral amongst drivers and office staff. a once good company in decline

This company is fast-paced work environment that you are constantly busy getting multiple of tasks done. A typical day at work is never the same each day. There are things always changing through out the day at this company. Time management skills are a priority here to get daily tasks accomplished. 

With a few exceptions many of the staff lack maturity, are egotistical or just impossible to work with. From trying to get a reaction out of others in the lunch room to refusal to help solve an issue. and they use their mechanics for jobs a exterminator should be hired for with the justification of "its just part of the trade"

I enjoy working at Sokil Express. The transportation world presents challenges to our company every day. we work together to solve complex shipping requriements.

dispatcher always goes to his car for smoking,drivers constantly call on the cb radio,dispatcher not there to reply,all he talks about is retireing he has bin there 39yrs.he is hard to work for

Working at Sokil is stressful. We had to work without heat at -10 to -50, owner didn’t bother to fix heat. Place is toxic and violent. 
In general you are working at hostile environment, dirty…. 
Everyone is working on the minimum 

Not a very good company to work with, they are not honest in regards with payment, benefits, overtime and overall they  are cheap, they needs
 better trucks and better management  and dispatch for sure

Company is family orientated.  Always helping the community ie food bank, Seniors Christmas via london drugs.

Always giving an opportunity to improve
