working week ends was great four days off every week.  Enjoyable work, fast paced but fun.  Unfortunetly money became the focus and employee needs and health set aside for profit, and that back fired.  I really did like working there i love the owner Andy and i really love all the people that worked there with me and i miss them.  it seems i was left with no choice to quit after 7 and a half years because of being pushed into work night shift, that caused me sleeping problems.  The spirit of the anti-Christ was a problem and bad decisions were being made so i fought for what was right in order to try to help.  That robo-bagger should have been burned!  It was really great while it lasted great job everyone it was really great working with you all and getting to know you...the hammer has left the building! i love you ALL!! in Jesus name amen

Ive never worked for a company that allows such mistreatment of there employees. They take advantage of you. They expect overtime and never ask. They are always short on staff. You don't get your holidays. Empty promises of raises. I worked there for almost 2 years and they could not keep people very long some people even walked out on there first day. I was a single mom working 12 to 14 hours a day which would have been fine if I actually only worked 4 days a week as per what I was hired for but was doing 5 days a week. I was trapped as I couldn't even look for work as I was always at work

Once a thriving company but made investments in large warehousing rather than upgrading aging and obsolete equipment which would have improved efficiencies, reduce waste and improve quality which in turn would have reduced costs and improved sales. Ego is a terrible thing when families depend on an owner being vested in their employees and company future.

I worked in the IT department in the head office in Brantford. When in IT you interact with all level's of the company and understand what's happening on all levels. Solis has very dedicated hard working employee's who over the last couple of years have been faced with many tough challenges. The company is moving forward in the right direction. If you are not afraid of challenges and hard work Solis is a place to go and work.

on the surface, management is sending out the idea that expansion is happening and growth will be happening soon... behind the scenes, bills aren't being paid, suppliers aren't sending necessary ingredients, clients are leaving and the talented staff they have are forced out, terminated because they speak up, or leave on their own in search of better opportunities. Better keep looking...

This place is hands down, the worst experience I have had. Training is lacking, staff and resources are lacking. They are so short, temps are running lines. There is no vacation given. Always denied. No raises ever for long term employees. No loyalty shown to employees who have stuck it out. Shameful.

Assured food safety, regulatory and company compliance by document and process review and audits.Other functions as assigned by area supervisor and/or manager, employee and facility safety, environmental compliance, sustainability, emergency response, etc.

This company was financially struggling. I worked on a strategy to sell off some assets, relocate the Head Office to the St. Marys where the factory was to reduce cost. Once it got a got a bit stable, the company was sold off to a financially strong Mississauga company.

This place is an actual hole. They dont care about anyone, frequently canceling entire weekls of work because they failed or order enough ingredients. Its hot, uncomfortable, safety standards are sub par at best. I was sexually harassed and instead of reprimanding the co-worker they just moved me.

Solis Foods is a wonderful place to work with full benefits and fantastic people. The hours aren't too bad and the pay is awesome! There are a few minor inconveniences about the job but all in all its alright.
