This company is growing very fast but they are unable to organize as needed to do the job efficiently.   Instead of management turnover where direction is supposed to come from the turnover is in the associates. The associates are only robots being told what to do and deserve better and more thorough training to do their job well.  I would not work here again as this company puts too much work on one associate in shipping to supply the lines running and they are run ragged from beginning to end of shift every day leading to weak immune systems and people getting sick as well as low quality of life.

The hours were great and the work is pretty lightweight and easy

Machines tend to not get proper attention and break down constantly

Overall the environment is pretty good with some toxic long term employees

It’s pretty much the same day in and day out so you always know what you will be doing when you arrive at work

I learned how to work different machinery and became efficient at it.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They expect perfection while working at a fast pace, not always attainable. Definitely not realistic.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Staff is stressed out due to the fast pace and management breathing down your back to be faster.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Long and stressful, however the people on your team  find amusement in stress of it.

Tokens instead of high wage.. eg.... T-shirts token awards and certificates instead of more pay....Lot's of old women working there for 3 years making minimum wage. Light fast complex work... If you like solving a rubix cube every four seconds you will love this job.

I'm a new employee here at Southmedic, and so far have been thoroughly enjoying working here.  The people are great, the job is exactly what I was looking for, and the team I work with is awesome.  Direction from management is clear, and thorough.  The manager I report to is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, as is the rest of the team I work with.

Poor leadership,  team leads will do stuff against policy to save paper work,  play favourites, not follow up on issues and people get away with acting like they are in high school and writing personal messages on a company information board

I loved working here , they offered benefits after 3 months and the people were very welcoming to work with.  They offered continental, day and nights at a decent wage and were understanding  of their workers needs,  I was happy to work here 

Very demanding both physically and mentally.  Very unorganized. Wages are low for the medical industry. The chances of advancement is based on who you know in the company.

Very fast paced environment with many different opportunities within the building. Managers were overall fairly good and many hours were always given to me

Work is pretty basic, most tasks are super easy. The people are friendly if they want to be. Some of the team leads are rude and pushy. The manger hardly comes around. He can often be found sleeping at his desk.
