Spa Utopia

Don’t care about the staff it’s all about the money, and being pushy to sell. The goals are set so high impossible to level up. They offer $26 per hour only if you are busy but during the down times ( which are a lot) they make you to do other stuff and sometimes get on your knee and clean the floor And it’s not even paid.
You will end up like minimum wage. At the end of your shift you are so tired barely have energy to do anything., but you still need to do your cleaning duty which is not paid. They make you feel guilty if you are sitting.

Working at Spa Utopia was a great experience the work days could be slow sometimes but also very busy and fast-paced at other times. Tasks could be a bit repetitive as you end up repeating yourself a lot. The people were great and it really felt like a little family which was nice. 

Since covid and new ownership this company has changed a lot. Head office and new owners don't care about employees. You never see them around the spa anymore. They can't hire or retain employees so those of us that have been around for a while are now doing twice as much work and are severely under paid. Only thing keeping me here is my coworkers. 

The regional manager is fantastic. She is very supportive and accommodating. The owner will also come and encourage you when he notices something you have done well. I appreciated my position here before kids, and even more so after as they have really worked alongside me to help me balance home and work life.

= No slacking allowed. If you have no services the manager will come and find  you and give you lots of duties to do for her. 
= benefits are great !
= free services are hard to get as an aesthetician unless you and a coworker come on a day off or if you work at the front desk or spa attendant you get 1 free service a month.

Not appreciate spa attendants. Those woman work very hard,! I was lucky to be given two different roles at Spa Utopia, I worked very hard , but always felt kinda like the little people to most higher up management. 

The pay for spa attendants and thanks is minimal.

I highly recommend Spa Utopia. This is a family run business and you truly feel part of the family. Your well being is kept at the highest priority. Pay and wages are more than acceptable. I enjoy working here very much

It's a very typical spa environment It can get really busy and shifts can get split between morning and evening. the owners are really great, however the people you actually report to are only great if you're on their good side.

It's a family owned business and family works through out the entire spa and if you not family they don't care, the owner has said many times he doesn't care about the employees as they are disposable

Unfortunately they didn't finish my training because they said they did not have time to do it. The manager was going on a vacations and they told me they could not continue with the training.
