The most rewarding part of my time at Spar HO stemmed from the challenges of the fast-paced environment, particularly in relation to last-minute executions and regular client updates and requirements.
In the main, my own clientele and contacts were extremely supportive at all times, and seemed genuinely happy with the service they received from both our office and the field.
The most difficult part of the job often involved translating exact client expectations to the field so all representatives may take full ownership of execution. On top of this, managing my time so that all jobs would be completed within mandated windows of opportunity.
My co-workers were in the main a great team to work with, especially as help was often needed by some individuals at various points, and everyone always seemed willing to "pitch-in".

Poor compensation.  Often must subsidize company, as no reimbursement for transportation costs or any form of vehicle allowance.  Excessive commuting unpaid. Only in a store for a few minutes to an hour and must move on.

"Front end loaded" with tasks to complete.  May spend 8 hours in field and only work, and paid, on assignments for half of that, rest of time driving throughout assigned territory.

If you need a job to support a family, pay a mortgage / rent and other independent living expenses, SPAR is the wrong company to work for,

What is the best part of working at the company?
They have great employees it felt like talking to childhood freinds.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Can't really think of anything other then the fact that, because it is a big company you feel pressure from yourself to want to do the best 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Diverse, and feels like family 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Focusing on the task that is given and communicating when I have questions if I don't understand the assignment

What is the best part of working at the company?
Easy to adapt system and clear job duties each week. Flexible hours are the best!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No problems! The app is easy to follow, and Supervisors are easy to work with

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great! The flexibility of the job is of upmost importance 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy during the holiday season, and lots of jobs to complete that are quick and easy too!

Excellent place to work. There is always clear and concise direction. Real time communication with all above you is terrific. The job is definitely very casual, with job assignments weekly and monthly. You can choose to be as busy as you’d like. This is however part-time casual, it would be great if it were full-time. 

Advice to Management:
Invest in proper HR training, foster a culture of mutual respect, and create a healthier workplace by empowering—not micromanaging—your employees. Also, stop encouraging all the gossiping! Work in a team, enjoy working together!

Its either crazy busy, or nothing
you can't judge it, 
work is always changing, you are given a territory near where you live, they don't pay mileage so that why you work where you live
props and products arrive at your door, you are always hauling reset from stickers to large stack out boxes

Upper management were a little snobby and egotistical. When you go into the office, you’re lucky they acknowledge you at all and it’s a small office. 
They will try to force you to go into the office even though there was no need. If you were to ask anyone for help, it was like you were bothering them. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. 

Get your experience and get out. They sell you a shiny new car but you are left with a lemon. Outdated thinking and ancient senior management has lead to high turnover. Nobody is aligned on goals which leads to each manager having different answers for your questions which leads to frustration and eventually a burn out. Get what you need to grow then leave. 

Most unprofessional company I have ever worked for. Managers texting you on your personal phone to basically engage in arguments.  Low pay.  Zero raise after more than 5 years of work with company and they do not issue T4 statements for taxes.
