   Be prepared to work mandatory overtime throughout most of the year, especially following any holidays to "make up lost time". Mandatory overtime is often on Saturdays giving employees only one day off a week.  
   Employees are constantly at eachother's throats. No upward mobility. ALL employess are paid the same starting wage: office workers, machine operators, employees that have been there 20+ years, all paid the same as a guy who just walked in the door with no experience. 
   Building is blistering hot in the summer with no AC or ventilation. Boxes and products that you need to handle are often mouldy. The warehouse is always in a state of complete disarray.
   It is very clear that management does not appreciate extra effort or volunteered overtime; this is part of the workplace culture.

What is the best part of working at the company?
A sense of purpose, creating things to keep people happy.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The executive team has zero idea about day-to-day operations, are unwilling to listen to those who have more of an insight into consumer thoughts or preferences.

When big business decisions are made, they are kept secretive from staff, hindering production and raising stress levels. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?

Depends on the office/location. I think that remote employees would benefit the most.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Average office hours, 830-430. Deadlines are very heavy and often last minute, so some departments feel they need to work 24/7.

Very busy environment where you can learn to polish your time management skills. Management styles vary depending on the department. People that you work with daily are great, it was one of the reasons I loved it there. The hardest part of my job was obtaining responses in a timely manner due to everyone having very packed schedules. There are too many meetings taking up your day so you really have to focus to get all your deliverables completed by day end. Most enjoyable part of the job hands down was the people you work with as well as growth opportunities.

A typical day at work is fast-paced and enjoyable. There was always something new to learned everyday, and they had many different jobs for you to do letting you experience a variety of work. My Co-workers were excellent. They always knew how to brighten up your day and keep your day entertaining and fun. The hardest part of the job were the breaks. I am very slow at eating, making my lunch seem very short and not getting enough to eat. The most enjoyable part of the job were seeing the faces of the people I worked with. They were such an awesome group to work with!

If you love a fast paced and collaborative environment , Spinrite is for you!  Duties can vary from day to day, giving a variety of learning and growth opportunities.  The team consists of very supportive coworkers, who make it a very fun and comfortable home away from home.  The culture is diverse and inclusive and this is being improved on consistently. At current, the hardest parts of the job would be the ambiguity and fast pace. The company however is aware of the required process improvements as well as a need for work life balance, and has these items at the top of the priority list.  It is a great place to expand and build your career! 

Exrremely expensive benefits! Almost not worth the money. Lots of old employees who are grumpy and unhappy! People are frendly at first but then after while you notice little clicks. Too much drama, some of it childish and all over face book. Feels toxic. Needs modernization in management and equipment. Also not very fair place to work. Some get the special treatment and some get writen up for it. Wages are not that great any more. Poor communication between mamagement and employees. It creates low morale. lots of production has been contracred to china so also may be a bleak future.

Good balance between work and life. respectful and encouraging environment with decent promise of advancement. satisfactory salary and benefits. 
The hardest part of the job was to have to quit due to some family health problems which required my immediate attention for an extended period. I could not have asked for compassionate leave as I had to be overseas.
The most enjoyable part was to see the people who were not used to working as strongly bonded teams taking part in the teams I created and started to work in great harmony and joy.

Leadership at the Toronto office is appalling and verbally and emotionally abusive. They constantly belittle their employees, including in front of your fellow coworkers for great lengths of time. Many intelligent, hardworking employees have been pushed to tears at the hands of upper management. The President is well aware of these issues but hasn't implemented any changes. Expect all of the drawbacks of an "entrepreneurial" environment, including no regard for work-life balance, with none of the benefits. Constant turnover which puts an even bigger strain on employees.

A facility with good honest people on the floor but a old school management system that bullies progressive thinkers and encourages toxic relationships to get ahead. 
They know where they need to improve but keep hanging on to the wrong people to make the positive changes happen and last.     Positive motivations are very limited. 
The facility likely has a limited life remaining which should be factored into any employment consideration.  
Expect to have a terrible boss, record breaking terrible. 


Was a great place to work at one time. Fast paced work, always busy. Great people on the floor, was like a family atmosphere among the co workers. But sadly there are people in management positions now that have no business being in them, and it has created an extremely toxic work environment. In the past year we watched about a dozen long term employees leave. That’s a huge red flag. But no one is paying attention and making things right. No positive motivation at all, the bullying from management is nothing like I have ever seen.
