start of the day was to prepare the store for opening.
People would bring in thier fish, we weighed them, identified the species, carefully filled out the processing cards as to whatthe customeres would like to have done with their fish, canning, smoked lox, or just fresh filets
Managegment was very good she listed to the team and took time to  train you on the different job resposiblities.
Hardest part of the job was all the lifting and working in the freezer when requierd.
To me always the most enjoyable part of the job were the customers.

There was alott of back stabing amongst the femal staff and I tried to stay away from it go in do my job and go home.

I enjoyed the work-life balance at St. Jeans. Though some days surprise shipments can keep you there from 11am-10pm. Unloading either the same box over and over again or even waiting for the truck to even arrive. The people were very welcoming. After daily tasks are completed, random tasks will be assigned and sometimes just pilled on top. CEO comes to visit but never said hi or bye. 

There were long hours. No support from management,very demanding and unrealistic expectations. There is lots of good people there, but lots of people just putting in time doing nothing with their hands in their pockets.

When a machine broke down, it was imperative to get it back up fast

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Make/Build or repair machines

Save yourself before you get sucked in to a company that treats their employees badly and doesn't pay fairly. Staff is overworked not trained well. Systems are as antiqued as the equipment. Since new  ownership it's been going downhill. Staff are leaving fast.. don't bother with this company.

Then they lay you off just before Christmas. I had too stand long hours labeling cans and putting fish in packages. Lots of scanning and data entry to do 

Everyone’s so nice and it is fast paced in some areas of work but it is very including. Best time to get a job there would be in mid June to early July because the sport fish rush is nice for how many hours you get to take.

Working environment in St Jeans is good and relaxed. We get support from the management a lot . It can be a little crazy at the peak season .Lots of pick ups and drop offs. 

An amazing work environment, wouldn't change a thing or forget anything or anyone I met there. Id like to thank everyone that gave me a chance there.

I enjoyed my time there, amazing group of people. If there's anything I regret at all when I worked there was that I'm still no there.
