You just have to understand that a hospital is a business. You could be severly overworked

Lots of good people, fun things to do, can be a bit clique 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy, very busy.  Sometimes you will take lunch and breaks. Sometimes you will eat at your desk or standing. Always glad to see friendly faces from staff i worked with

Volunteering at St. Michael's hospital was great. Everyday would be slightly different if you asked your manager.  Some days I was in the office filing documentations, others I was at the front desk greeting patients. Overall atmosphere was pleasent with all of the healthcare administrators.

the work environment is very amiable and even from the first day, i already felt part of the team because they were so welcoming and willing to help, teach and lead you in the right direction

Fast-paced, demanding, and constantly changing work environment. I was challenged and pushed to new limits on a daily basis and gained new competencies from my peers. 

I am doing research for journals to prepare a research proposal, find grants and coordinate current research works. I am interviewing participants to collect data and data analysis.

Great workplace to develop your knowledge in the field of health care. Good support from the team members to help you find a solution of any problems. Amazing place to work.

It was really fun and exciting. the staff members were really friendly and they are willing to help me with anything from school work and more volunteer experiences.
