It's a workplace with quiet times and fast times.  In general, everyone is very friendly and willing to help you.  Usually you have to stay to work extra time during the week or when they have events that are very late.  It does a bit of everything, cleaning, shaking, simple things.  It's enjoyable to work but it does get tiring if you don't use all the right tools. If you have a problem, management doesn't even know about it.  Say you have to stay to work everyone happy. I enjoy flexible working hours.  This is, however, specific to my position. Not everyone gets this. I enjoy working here, however, the remuneration is dismal.  The teachers are paid well but the staff that aren't part of faculty get paid far below the provincial average for the particular position and certainly not enough to live in Victoria where the cost of living is very high. There is a distinct separation between faculty and other staff and it is expected that the two don't mix.  Communication in general is poor.

Family like environment and they really  take care of their employees.  Lots of company paid parties

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
My Job at St. Michaels is not stressful.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fun and friendly inclusive culture.

Colleagues are knowledgeable professionals who are committed to the children and education. They go out of their way to support students. 

work was pretty easygoing most of the time. Management did not really care about the staff just as long as everything runs smoothly. no job security over the summer and breaks. wage was under par but working there was worth it as they will give you free meal thru the school cafeteria.

Working at St. Michaels University School is ideal for Type A personalities. Demands are high. Stress levels can be equally high. This is not a position for someone who is not competitive, perfectionistic, presentable or professional at all times.

This school makes a commitment to its employees to provide a safe work environment and up to date quality buses to drive. The benefits, besides the usual health benefits, are enormous.

The co -workers are impressive, very good and I really liked working with them. The chefs are the best, and are always willing to help you.
The bad thing is that management does not show any help when you need it.

I was a helpful volunteer.  It was a good place to work at. I enjoyed working with the children and helping my Dad coach. I helped with starting and organizing races, doing exercises and drills with the children.

Very fulfilling experience and gave a strong work ethic for future jobs. Encompassed many different jobs all under the same work crew and crew manager
