Expect staff to be committed to the position for a really long time even though they do not provide any raises or bonuses. Rates also almost never go up even though minimum wage increases. No sick days, no vacation days/vacation pay is added into every pay check, and they pressure you to taking shifts that you say no to. They tell you that they are going to put you into an orientation for a long term facility soo you can get paid 22/hour instead of doing private (20/hour) but never follows through. I have a colleague who was waiting about 8 months for them to put her into said orientation but they never did. Don't even get me started on management, they asked another colleague for a doctors note for calling in sick ONCE, they don't give out references or letter of employment. You would benefit from this company if you are a new grad looking for your footing in the industry but I highly recommend finding a job that will treat you well once you get enough experience.

What I love most is seeing the direct impact of our work on patient outcomes. Whether it's filling critical positions efficiently or witnessing the relief on healthcare providers' faces when we provide the support they need, the sense of accomplishment is undeniable.

they call you for shifts, there is no app. they leave passive aggressive voice messages on your phone. they are pretty aggressive in trying to convince you to pick up a shift, even after I explained I had just finished a shift, they continued to push. 
for one assignment, I had one condition before accepting a shift at late notice, I simply asked if the facility they wanted to send me to was paper or eMAR - I guess they were desperate enough to lie to me or not bother double checking, because I was taken completely off-guard when I arrived and nothing was how they explained it to me. frankly, a traumatizing experience. I've had better experiences with other agencies than this one.
they don't have many RPN positions anyway, and if they have a few at some facilities, those facilities have partnerships with multiple other staffing agencies.

The most stressful part was unclear policies and procedures, ineffective or non existent communication, unsafe environment, heavy workload when given too much work without proper guidance or resources, new roles and responsibilities.

Russell knows how to listen to their employees. He is emphatic towards us and as long as you're good at your work, they'd appreciate you. I gave only 4 stars because the other 1 is for improvement of the company towards employer-employee relationship.

Healthcare is stressful and without proper attitude of the bosses towards employees, it makes us more stress

Multi cultural in the sense that different nationalities work here.

Its the giving care to residents and doing the job of a psw as I am a psw

Was thrown into a retirement home on a busy Saturday and left to fend for myself, was supposed to be a training/orientation shift but that was a blatant lie. When I emailed management to express my concerns with going back the next day to work and that I would not be going back until given a safe orientation, I received a very unprofessional TEXT MESSAGE from someone in management. The text basically berated me for "abandoning" the residents, and "how would you feel if that was your grandparents?", and trying to guilt trip me by saying they aren't going to get fed now that I won't be going in. I was appalled, all I wanted was proper orientation and training.

This is a temporary agency and they have found me a contract, which was just extended

My placement is elsewhere. Nothing special happening with the Company for me

I work elsewhere. I have a contract to work for someone else facilitated through this company

Staff Relief is a wonderful place to work. I always feel like the management team has my best interest at heart. I am typically quite happy with my schedule and feel like the management team considers my needs. They are not only warm and supportive, but professional and fair. Even though there are tough days on the job, like needing to work for long hours, I enjoy coming in every day. I love the people I work with and feel lucky to be part of the Staff Relief team. 

If I could give this place negative stars, I would If you get called for a shift, it’s always the same day. No set schedule. They don’t pay you for all your time on a shift. Expect you to drop everything and pick up shifts. Most weren’t even close to my home, 2 hours away. I had to pay for my own Name tag. I was sent to a LTC who was constantly short staffed. Whole building was filled with agency staff. Very unsafe procedures. Even when brought to their 
attention, nothing was done. Horrible place to work for. Would never recommend this place to anyone
