I’ve worked for Mr. Shub for endless years and he is a great employer. He is well educated in the Real Estate field and is helpful with any questions or when any potential issues may arise. It’s sad to see other negative reviews (which I believe none of them to be true). He is friendly and very professional in my opinion. 

The staff are all friendly (as well) and are to be considered a real estate law firm family. The office provides a great stepping stone if you are new to real estate. You are given the opportunity to interact with clients, realtors and various colleagues on a day-to-day basis. Senior law clerks and all the lawyers there are helpful if one requires any assistance. We close a large volume of deals every month and have procedures implemented to stay organized. 

Overall my experience at this firm as been really great. 

Stephen Shub Professional Law Office is the perfect work environment for any lawyer, law clerk or paralegal to work in, especially if you are new to the field of real estate. You will learn proper legal office procedures as the programs and systems in place work flawlessly. Everyone works as a team to get the deals closed. From the beginning of a file to the end, all areas are dealt with in a very detailed and well documented way. I have worked in 6 other law firms in my 40 plus years as a law clerk and this is the most well organized law firm I have ever worked at. I would 100% refer this firm to anyone looking for a law firm that is dedicated to providing great detailed service to prospective clients for their residential real estate needs.

The office has a friendly atmosphere and we have a great caring team that will go the extra mile to ensure smooth operation of the company. Stephen Shub P.C is a very busy office with a high volume of real estate closings and although maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, it’s the place to be if you are looking to challenge your limits. There is ample opportunity to learn and grow within the company if you are willing to work hard!

Super busy office. 
Hundreds of calls coming in a day that receptionist are required to answer and relay. There are times when secretaries or lawyers aren't available (or are avoiding phone calls) and the call will bounce back. Clients in general are rude and entitled, and willing to take it out on the first point of contact, aka reception. 
Outside of calls, reception is also expected to respond or reply to emails and faxes, create and organize files, sign in clients for appointments and more. 
The boss isn't a bad guy, but do your best not to mess up. Any mistake may get you yelled at. 
Great for experience, but really busy. Must be able to handle stress. Try to avoid gossip and cliques earlier on.

Stephen Shub’s law firm treats employees VERY well. From paid time off, to benefits, to work life balance. It’s hard to find a company that treats their employees so well. Colleagues are friendly and the senior staff are very supportive. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience working at the firm, and learned quite a lot in the few years that I worked there. In particular, I was fortunate to work closely with two Lawyers who provided me with very detailed and hands-on training. Everyone in the firm from the receptionists to the owner treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. Diversity and Inclusion is at the forefront. A great company to work for all in all.

The lawyers and clerks are very friendly and great to work with.  It is a professional environment where your skills would be put to the test.  You are also provided with the ability to learn and job shadow in an effort to develop new legal skills in different areas.  There is never a dull moment.  I have been one of the lucky ones who was able to know how it felt to work at a branch office.  I started in our Woodbridge office for a couple years and then moved to our North York office for another couple years and now I can call our Richmond Hill office home.  It has been nothing but growth after growth. 

This law office presents an excellent opportunity for a junior or intermediate lawyer to gain a specialization in Real Estate Law.  You spend time on interesting files, gain lots of valuable exposure, and you get to show your initiative by carrying your own matters from start to finish.  This is great place to start your legal career especially if you are focused on a real estate law practice.  Highly recommended.

The people who work there are great, I've made lifelong friends there. 

However, you will bond over agreeing on how crazy the boss is. Goes off on tangents to anyone who will listen. He expects crazy perfection, with no room for human error. While accuracy is very important in this field, a small error is to be expected every now and then. 

Long-term employees will tell you there is no room for growth. The boss will tell you otherwise, but those who have worked with him for years will tell you that you will not grow within the company.

Our team in the office are marvels group and very helpful which make it a very pleasant work environment.

Lawyers and Senior Law Clark not only help their team learn and further develop skills to become more successful, but also they are very approachable and welcomes questions.
