The amount of stress and responsibility for driving, expense reports, creating your own schedule, monthly meetings and travel time are NOT paid - they will tell you it "averages out" but unless you are a robot who does not need to sleep- it will never "average out". Also, you work by yourself which sounds great, but there is very little, if any team member support or rapport built with other colleagues. No clear sense of community within the company. Management expects unrealistic work output with INADEQUATE compensation. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME !

My experience was very disappointing. They do not compensate appropriately for all the work they force on you. It is extremely stressful, and the communication between management is poor. It is very confusing to start and lots of miscommunication. 
This job was a total life style change for me and was very restricting. I would also agree with other reviews, do not take this job if you want or have a family. 



Typically it was a great place to work about 10 years ago. Recent Managment changes have negatively effected employee moral. They treat tenured employees poorly and even create a very hostile work environment to push people out. The hardware they use is glitchy and often creates issues. They do not listen to employee concerns vacations are below industry standards though salary and other benefits are comparable. Best part of the job is the customers. Worst part is Managment and lack of support. 

No pay for excessive travel time, meetings or administrative tasks. Insulting salary with bogus bonus system that only kicks in after you put in unpaid work hours. The car is a taxable “benefit” 
Work / life balance is non existent. Unreliable equipment and software that either crashes often or is inaccessible. Management  picks obvious favourites and communication is awful. Feedback is typically negative and condescending as is responses to requests for support. You’d be better off working in a customer service call centre. 

Long days but great network of peers and clients
Various location through out the Greater West Toronto Area and West End of the city .ie Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville 
Great learning opportunities avail based on the nature of the work 
Management was great support  when assistance required

Hardest part of job was the feeling of a lack of support from HR when processing  administration , benefits etc

The flexibility of my job allows me to create a daily schedule, with no time parameters, except for client specific black-out times. I typically conduct three to four audits per day, working approximately ten hours. Because I work independently, I have very little interaction with my co-workers. I am able to connect with my manager via phone, but there is very little interaction between Specialists.

You have the ability to make your own schedule which allows a great work life balance.  One of the simplest jobs I have ever held.  It is great a great entry level or retirement type of position.
A typical workday involves auditing 2-4 Food Service establishments and offering best practices to resolve issues related to food safety and brand standard requirements.

If you are new to the industry this may be a good start. If your a seasoned professional then it isn't going to be for you. Rentokil does not blend with Steritech seamlessly. They seemed very seperate when I was there. Very much trying to run a corporate business at a small business level with poor communication overall. Management was erratic and saw several management changes in 6 mths

Provided excellent training and is a good entry-level job if you would like to get into the food industry.  This job can be very hit or miss based on your area manager.

Mangers expect too much, no work life balance. 
No one stays for too long. Have an opportunity to make a bonus, but its not worth the extra hours. In the interview they make the company sound much better than it actually is.
