Well paid, lots of hours available for work 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
While Broken machines every other day slows you down, yet higher expectations of speed and accuracy.
No proper training provided, they schedule you to work with different trainers, most of the time that don't know that they have to train you and what you are trained at by the previous trainer. If you ask for more training they will extend the training period but still the same so called training. 


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Negative work environment. Back biting is common. Highliting others mistakes is the priority.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Keep preparing and delivering meds all the day around, also driving to other locations, most of the time you don't take any breaks.

A typical day at work would include doing quality control on the camera.  Then patients come start coming in and I explain the procedure and begin giving injections of radioactive material.  The main types of scans done are bone, cardiac, hida, sentinel lymph node, and MUGA scans.  My co-workers are great to get along with.  The hardest part of the job is making sure procedures get finished on time.  The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with patients and other team members.

If you like an environment where co-workers are always in the supervisors office, detailing how your always doing something wrong....great place to be.
You learn not to say ANYTHING negative, or your supervisor hears about it.
Don't expect to hear anything about your Union rights. Union stewards are almost always unavailable, or useless.

I learned a lot about all aspects of building operations and facilities management for a large medical facility centre.  It required me to wear many hats as I worked to resolve maintenance issues.  It also allows me to work with many departments and will all levels of employees and management.

This was a great place to work and I did enjoy the challenge. 
I liked the hands on learning and help from the varying staff such as nurses and physicians. The time went by fast but I felt the environment to be a little too stressful for myself personally.

Stratford General hospital is a great work environment to work in and my fellow employees are great. 
SGH is  a small hospital, but the RT role is well developed. It is nice working in a smaller facility, as everyone tends to know each other. This also makes day to day interactions more enjoyable.

Not usual to be understaffed. Most of the time the atmosphere is positive but management is not a build up type. It is a look down situation. Not great at pointing out attributes to staff

I am a student nurse who had a placement on this unit and found it very enjoyable. The other nurses on the floor are very helpful and would help teach me new skills.

I enjoy working with the staff and patients.  It is an excellent learning environment.  The most enjoyable part of my job is interacting with patients and watching them on their journey to recovery.

Pretty good place to work fairly flexible with good pay for the most part. Pretty laid back environment but other days can get really busy. If you are a self-starter and good at what you're doing then you'll be fine
