Working 12 hour days on a 21 days on 3 days off shift doing pipefitting related work. A very challenging work environment in which I learned a lot in the procedures it takes to dismantle an old oil battery(demolition) and rebuilding a new one (pipe installation) using various methods and equipment, problem solving was an essential skill. The hardest part of the job was figuring out ways of rigging some of these huge pipes into tight places and the most enjoyable part was after a long day seeing the progress and everything starting to come together.

Lots of good people here.  Work was enjoyable.  Work was drafting, and filing relevant paperwork for welding procedures.  At the time they were very busy.  Common issue with fab shops, did not like the way Isogen spit out Isometrics, so each was redrawn using Acorn to get document style desired.

Isogen needs clean up on generating spool drawings.

Enjoyed the staff.  Good to work for.

Disorganized and cater to clients at employees expense. Management very disorganized and don't care for workers. Put employees in sub standard camps and lie about pay, length of turnarounds and contracts mean nothing to them. 

Unless you are part of management, you have no voice.  To bring attention any issues to your management team only results in convoluted feedback (which really means they have no idea) and essentially you are on your own...but get it done!  Also, a very sexist company, even for this industry.

Had to find work on the side to pay the bills. The work that was done was done well and was surprised there wasn't more jobs afterwards. Good, friendly staff that were honest about having no work.

Always meeting good people on the different sitesdoing the usual oilfield service and construction activities throughout the province. Wages could be a little though.

Great Job great crew great leadership.  good pace of work and little perks to motivate guys.  very good organization and spent the money where they needed to for best results

All in all a great place to work. Unfortunately, due to the oil and gas industry tanking, cuts and job security are a factor as to why I am looking for new employment.

Strike was a great company to work for on many levels but job security was not there and the unknown is not very desirable for myself.

Would work for them again I really liked the job and hope they would call me again for more upcoming work! I recommend Strike for others wanting to work for them!
