It was decent when I worked there in 2008 or 2009ish, management was flexible but firm. I did have difficulty with tasks because of inadequate training, and having undiagnosed autism at the time, I struggled immensely in very fast situations with strangers. Counting cash (despite I am very good at math) and remember what kind of sandwich to make, the size, the type of bread, the topping etc... I'd become very quickly and easily overwhelmed and my mind would go blank, to the point people had to tell me, step by step exactly what they wanted, and most of the time, I felt like a failure, especially with the looks the "leader" at the time I was always on shift would give me. I would try to copy the other employees, but would then be reported to management for being lazy, despite I never was explained why, or how to fix it. just scolded and threatened with losing my job.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The team work, open communication and Friendship during work. The company teach me how to communicate with the customers and their excellent feedback makes me more motivated to work and give the best as I can.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When I’m the opening and my second person didn’t show up, it’s hard for me to do the rest of the work.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Friendly environment and I enjoyed staying in that company because I’m working with my fellow Filipino. It’s easy for me to deal with them.

No specific day, I like it everyday.

Having a regular customers for years feels like family.and in the end of the day you feel like you did something good and to wait for the next day to do the same

Every job has a stressful time but with time you get to know how to deal with it but the hardest thing is when someone doesn’t show up for work

It’s very hard because you have to deal with so many people and each customer has a different way to deal with

Making sandwiches,  and prepared for prep like veggies  and i like also when Im doing inventory .

Anytime  I can come to work. Im very happy when I’m at work with good friends

Fair management, enough hours given, nice co workers, company culture like honesty, integrity, fun, teamwork are in place. Fast paced working environment. Enough time for training, co workers are very supportive. Open communication is being practiced that’s why there’s a good relationship in the company. Lots of things to learn that will help people grow.

Was a decent place to work at, recosider though if you're trying to stay long term. Job is easy enough but you might only have you and one co-worker. Being alone could either be a slog through the mud or more work than you can handle. Considering it's part of the busiest homedepot in burlington expect a lot of long lines and impatient customers.

The management (owners) are too cheap and never want to pay to their workers as they hardly pays minimum wage and expect to work like they are paying alot. Also there is partiality between workers working.

Subway management is horrible. They change dates on the food before inspection shows up. No raises and the management treats their employees like dogs. I only recommend a job there for students or people from different countries
