During a typical day at work coming up to work early and prepare everything that has to be processed and done before starting to work. I have learned lots of things at work inventory, receiving, dispatch and some accounting jobs like A/R and A/P. Management are nice and supportive to the employees. In general work cultures are balanced lots of workers helped when needed.There are no hard part on the job on challenges specially if you are dealing with person who are hard to request.I enjoyed working in whatever aspect. If you love your work then you enjoy every part of it.

I enjoyed traveling throughout the Ottawa Valley, visiting various restaurants and taking their food product orders for delivery.  Monthly sales meetings at Summit's warehouse in Ottawa, were always informative and motivational.  Unfortunately, I had very little training and guidance from upper management.  I was given few tools in order to obtain new business, however, I was able to grow organically.

The company needed an update, but, new leadership is making things worse. Negative work environment, very little praise; lots of criticism. Unstable environment, and lots of unhappy staff.

Very early morning start times (3AM), treated as a number not as a person, unreliable equipment.
I do enjoy the social aspect of my job with customers that I have known for over twenty years

Summit was a good place to work, I was hoping I'd be there forever but it didn't work out that way.  I got the opportunity to do deliveries too places, I'd otherwise never go too.

Very satisfactory in general. Management are very supportive, good benefits, safe place to work. Everything is fully computerized. Staff always help each other during busy time. Lastly more foods in the fridge.

great place to be just time to move on. good team of dedicated drivers that co exist well. A lot of overtime hours offered . everyday was a new and interesting one.

I found working here very fast paced but enjoyable for a warehouse job, besides working in the freezer the odd time. Defiantly a great job for anyone looking for a little more than minimum wage.

Delivering products to 5-9 restaurants per day
Management was fairly easy to get along with and resolve problems in a timely manner 
Other drivers were usually polite and willing to help and answer questions

They change shift all the time. No regard for family welfare. 
Organized chaos and no regard for safety.
Money is good but your back won't last.
Make a short buck n run.
