I rate Sunbury at Zero. Not good place to work, particularly if you are an owner operator. In case, involved in accident, O/O will never get a penny from them. I lost my 2 years new truck in 2009, until now Sunbury didn't pay me a single penny. These people will hire big law firms, but will not give the O/O fair value of the truck. Do not belive them of $5000 deductible, Sunbury deducitble is $250,000.00 Which means, before you ask the insurance company to pay truck value, if lost in an accident, Insurance company will tell the O/O, we are not responsible for the initial $250,000. Therefore, O/O is out of luck and will be on the mercy of Sunbury. If your truck value $100,000 at the time of accident, Sunbury will offer the O/O only 35-50% of the value of truck, because Sunbury is paying O/O out of it own pocket. Therefore, Sunbury will not give the O/O fair value of equipment. Moreover, Sunbury will force you to sign the contract that O/O agreed to accept 35-50% value of the truck. I am alive example of Sunbury suhc crime. 10 years now, did not get paid sing dollar over the loss of my 2007 volvo truck.

Extremely busy, dealing with truck drivers, tracking and booking shipments, arranging spar drivers/tow trucks, dispatching, date entry, customer service.
I learned about the trucking industry
Management was was near non-existent and would not deal with any concerns or issues.
Some co-workers were hard working, others barely worked and we had to pick up the slack. Almost no real team spirit existed.
Hardest part was sitting in a tiny office with five other people with no space between so even when you are on the phone you have to try and forget the other five people in the room talking and yelling at drivers.
I did not enjoy this position.

Best company to Work. Not to worry, they will preplan you advance for whole week.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Just keep rolling, nothing to worry about about. Dispatch is best, they know about everything.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great, treated everyone like a family.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Awesome, relaxed and energetic.

Standardization of process, and assigning roles and responsibilities was starting tasks and daily review. Initiative management was did not exist and was required and follow up occured weekly. Team was extremely busy and leading change was a challange to show advantages of standardization and projects to improve. was a great introduction to transportation business and learning took place everyday.

Company really cares about its employees, additional trainings upon needs, job security.
mostly you work with nice and collaborative people, due to company's culture and values   

Overall not a bad place to work, all the trucks are newer, lots of positions depending on if you want to do long haul or local runs. My only pick on 5he place is they pay less per mile than some other places in town, other than they they were pretty decent place to work.

The environment is a very open office with few walls or barriers. Everyone behaves like they are sibling and such will have the hilarious sibling rivalry. It is a very fun and informative place to work because you are always working and learning while having fun.

I enjoyed working for Sunbury Transpot as Long haul Truck Driver for more than 10 years, because they offered me excellent training, steady work flow throughout the year. Moreover, they offered  me with loads that fit my personal needs and excellent pay & benefits package.

Good place they leave you alone dont bug you very very safety concious specially in winter driving if bad weather they close down all the area under dangerous driving conditions they dont risk it they have their own insurance company  in the 8 years I been there almost no accident heard of maybe a couple

Truly the best company I've ever worked for. Had I not moved I would still be working for Sunbury. This company offers so many career options and is very supportive with those decisions.
