My co-workers there were friendly and always willing to help out. There was always a team effort being made. The management was also great, organized, and stayed on top of all the tasks being handled at the job site. I learned a few things about being at a construction site and about wood along with how the typical work day usually went on a normal day. Safety was a top priority and was important, there was safety meeting every week on Tuesdays about issues about the workplace and possible solutions to those issues.

We were building a hospital in Maple Creek, the work was physically demanding but thats what I'm looking for. A typical day on the job as a drywall labourer I would be cleaning up drywall waste and sweeping floors. Sometimes I'd be handed a drill and told to hang hangers from the ceiling for a drywall ceiling system. Management was good. Co-workers were probably the hardest part of the job a lot of inappropriate things were said to me on site. the most enjoyable part of the was being part of a project thats going to save the lives of lots of people.

I have been with Sunco for only a short time. I have been provided training and room for advancement upon showing a good work ethic. They areally committed as much to safety as they are a sense of equality in the workplace. No one person is "above" another or doing a task. Everyone is expected to "pitch in" to get the job done. Everyone has been really kind to me and willing to teach me whenever I ask a question.

there was alot of work schedules varied but was a fast paced job

no time for messing around. I learn that with tough labour comes 

tough constructive critism like I said there was no time for slack or

clowning around. Management was strict n work place culture well

its a job n things needed to be done on a timely basis. Hardest part of 

the job was the manual labour, most enjoyable part getting to go

home to my family.

typical construction company..hard work and not a lot of room for advancement.  company is fair in treatment of employees.  respects safety and physical well being of it's employees.  managers are realistic and honest for the most part.

I thoroughly enjoyed the production requirements at Sunco. They place a high value on skilled tradesmen and show it in the pay-cheque! Safety policies are first and foremost in daily job processes.

I work with this company for 6 years I experience and I learned a lots regarding steel stud framing / drywalling/t- bar ceiling/wood ceiling and wood panels

They keep the labour rates low. I guess it helps when competing for projects, but hinders them when trying to do a job and they lack the better skilled, more reliable tradespeople in town.
