Terrible Top Management.
Terrible Old ancient Tools & Equipment.
Safety is talked about but not followed when cash counts.
Company has lost an uncountable amount of years experience with tradespeople quitting and going elsewhere.
Will be surprised if this company reaches 2019 with current Manager.
Would not advise accepting a position here if you are presently working.      
Highest turnaround of anywhere I have ever worked it is unbelievable, and to think this company was once a respected leader in the Construction Industry.

The company has had recent management change which has brought about a great work atmosphere to work in, They have reinvested in the people, equipment and tooling. They are working towards being functional in all previous disciplines and re-establish the great name of Sutherland-Schultz as a premier provider of multi trade construction services. Many of the previous employees have returned as they always believed it could return to its previous roots if properly managed. Great Job!

- Poor Management System. 

- Lack of Support- yet say they preach about work/life balance. 

-Very demanding with tight deadlines, they simply don't care what it takes folks. You better do it. 

- Highest turnover I have ever seen, in a supposed  professional office setting. 

- Any other place is more rewarding. 

If you are an eager, loyal individual, with a strong work ethic, invest your efforts elsewhere that will pay off in the long run.

I was employed with s-s for a couple of months. The management frowns on any time off. They have horrible equipment and little to no safety standards. They do not care for there employees at all. The management picks favourites and make others feel left out. The work comes and goes and is not steady at all.. the pay is alright.

Busy environment with tons going on every day. Use to be lots of turnover but big changes to staff and culture have made a huge difference. Office staff are fun to work with but also work hard every day. Company is growing right now so there are chances for advancement now that weren't there before.

This place use to be amazing 15 years ago, but now is micro managed.  They allow no input from the people who actually do the work, they have lost alot of staff because of management.  They had zero concern for job work/life balance, they cared about profit margins only.  The weekly staff meetings were useless and non productive.

Found the staff to be very immature, if you miss high school this is the place for you.  Working technology 10 years out of date and processes created by staff with no experience in organization or efficiencies.  Management was very poor which is turn created a toxic working environment.

Environment is terrible.  Pay is minimal. Time off is frowned upon. micromanaging management, with no people skills. Work is continuously thrown at you with no raises or praise.  Don't hear from management until you do something wrong.  Stay away!

Micromanaging, unfair treatment of staff, keep assigning you to menial tasks unrelated to your job and they get upset when your job doesn't get done. Poor management, unrealistic goals, disorganization.

Sutherland-Schultz is a great place to work. Here 6 months and I love my job because I work where I work. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great company that supports their employees.
